Pre plan!

We were all set to start our journey, a seven day vacation. At around 12:30 at night, we left our home for Indira Gandhi International Airport,Delhi. I was quite excited for my second abroad trip. Everything was pre planned beforehand like where to stay and how many days to stay in Pattaya and how many days to stay in Bangkok, hotels were booked, every single thing was preplanned. We reached the airport and ended up doing all the necessary things. Our flight had to departure at 2:30 and around 2:10 we were enjoying our KFC so much that we forgot to see the time. Around 2:15, I brought my phone back from the charging point and saw the time, I spoke so loud that it is 2:15 that everyone started staring at me. We picked up our hand bags and rushed toward the checking point. Within minutes, our excitement turns into a terrible feeling. The checking point was closed till the time we reached, We requested them so much that they allowed us somehow, By the difference of one minute, we were into our plane thankfully.

Starting our Journey

We landed at Don Mueang International Airport, Bangkok. The airport itself was a beauty. It was early morning and we were sleepy too. But as per our planning and our hotel bookings, we had to go directly to Pattaya for four days. We took a bus to Pattaya and it was around 2 hour travel. We reached Pattaya.

We were super hungry, We ate some sausages from a street vendor but somehow they weren't fulfilling. We had to travel about 2 kms to get our keys of the booked apartment. On the way, we found a place from where we could get paid scooty. We took it for our next four days and we got our keys and through our support system and our time saver, our GPS, we reached our apartment named "NAM TALAY". It was a very nice apartment indeed. I loved it, It had swimming pool and on our walking distance there was a beach so it was that close that it was visible from the terrace. Every minute of our vaccation was a lovely feeling.

Unforgettable night!

There was a store very near to the place we were living and at a short distance there was main road. So It was our 2nd day in Pattaya and i was somehow familiar only to nearby places. So at night, my dad and my brother were enjoying their beer while my mom was cooking for us, she was making fried rice and she put to make some boiled rice first. She went to another room and after few minutes we all were gossiping, totally forgotten about the rice, after few minutes there was a strange smell of burnt rice. That was the last stock of rice we had. It was around 10 at night, so my dad told me to bring another packet of rice from nearby store. So I went to the nearby store but it was closed, I thought I could find something around the main lane, so I went there but coulndn't find anything. On the way back, I forgot the turn where I need to turn an instead took the wrong turn. It was dark and soon I realised that I took a wrong turn, I couldn't contact anyone or even I cannot get back through GPS as I was not carrying the phone along with me. I tried to find the way, but I couldn't. It was dark and no one was around. I was scared, negative thoughts were covering all of my mind and heart. After few minutes of trying to get my way, I saw a man, with a hesitation in my mind that he may not do any harm to me, I stopped him and told him,"I lost my way, could you please tell me the way to Nam Talay apartment"

He made a strange face and said something in Thai language, I tried hard to understand his symbols but I couldn't, soon he left and again I was left alone.

I MET MY BEAM OF LIGHT

I was actually started crying at that moment, I was totally hopeless. I started imagining some of the most negative situations. I was scared, I was hopeless, I was just praying to get back. After about half an hour of terror, I saw a beam of light, without any thought in my mind, I stopped that car. I took a sigh of relief when I saw a thai girl. She was pretty, and the best part was she couldn't speak much of english but she was able to understand it.

Her name was "Jang Tanaton", she was returning back from her work and in between when we were trying to tell and understand, we get to know that she was living in the same apartment. She drove and I followed her to our apartment.

I thanked her so much and invited her for beer at my apartment, I requested her to join us. My parents were scared that where I am, seeing me they hugged me without even noticing Jang. I introduced her to my family and we enjoyed our evening with beer along with chicken.

Till now, we are connected on Facebook. She has a very cute baby girl. I couldn't imagine what could happen if she was not there to help me out.

She is one of the amazing person I know. She was a stranger then but now she is like our family.

I would love to meet her again anyhow.

Conclusion

It's actually good to know that how some people end up making so much good bonds. And also humanity still exists. It was a lovely trip, even I cherish that night, just because of it, I could get to know Jang.
