Hello, Hivers! Good day!

Today, I’m excited to share our trip to Little Batanes in Caduawan, a hidden gem that offers stunning views and a peaceful escape. Let me take you through our adventure!

The Invitation

A few days ago, my friend messaged me, asking if I wanted to join them on a trip to Little Batanes. Since it’s quite close to where I live, I considered it. It took me a few minutes to respond because I was checking my schedule to ensure I didn’t have any pending tasks. After some thought, I finally replied with a cheerful “Yes, I’ll join!”

Weather Worries

On the day of our trip, the sky was incredibly cloudy. I even told my friend through chat, “It might rain later.” We were a bit concerned about the weather, but thankfully, when we left and arrived at Little Batanes, it was just a gloomy day—no drizzle or rain to ruin our plans.

The Journey Begins

At around 2 PM, I heard a bus stop near the highway and thought, “Maybe they’re taking the bus.” To my surprise, they entered the alley near my house. The three of us exchanged laughs when we met, and I quickly got ready to leave.

Here’s the fun part: I thought it would just be the three of us, but they brought along another mutual friend. I greeted them warmly, and we all started the journey together. They had packed some food, including pizza, in a box. While traveling, we couldn’t stop laughing as they joked about the pizza possibly tilting during the bumpy ride.

On our way to Little Batanes, when we arrived, one of our companions parked the motorcycle. It was perfect timing because there weren’t too many people around.

There were flowers in the area, and as a flower lover, I took some photos, including close-up shots.

Exploring and Relaxing

While my two friends wandered off to take photos, I stayed behind at the spot where we ate. Feeling full and content, I decided to clean up our area. After a few minutes, they returned, and we spent some time chatting about life.

Chasing the Sunset

When the sunset came around 4 PM, I asked one of my friends to take my picture because the sun-kissed effect during sunset was just beautiful.

Behind us was an abandoned hut that added a rustic charm to the place. From where we were sitting, the view was absolutely serene—a perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection.

Heading Home

As the clock approached 5 PM, I told my friends, “Let’s go.” Without hesitation, they agreed, and we started packing up.
