Pangururan Water Front, Samosir Island, North Sumatra Indonesia

in TravelFeed14 days ago

2 years ago, this place was a remote area facing the view of Lake Toba, Indonesia, but what has happened at this time, everything has changed, community leaders who have sat in the central government have built this area into a tourist city that is worthy of being taken into account and must be one of the a destination that must be visited when you visit Samosir Island. This place is called the city of Pangururan and the newly built tourist spot is the Water front, but the people around this place named this place a dancing fountain whose water follows the rhythm of local and international music which is currently a hit, don't forget regional songs and national songs too. sung and the dancers are the waterfall.

Actually, I've seen this waterfront in Malaysia, precisely in front of KLCC and another in Singapore, but still I won't miss the locally made one which is still the only one in North Sumatra at the moment. This Waterfront show is only available on Saturday nights and religious holidays and is only shown in 2 sessions. The first session is from 19.00 WIB to 19.30 WIB and the second session is from 20.30 WIB to 21.00 WIB. It only takes 30 minutes but it already has a deep and unforgettable impression. And to see the waterfront show in Pangururan, every visitor is required to buy a ticket of Rp. 10,000. not even 1 U$ dollar at the exchange rate, right? Very affordable. and even though it's not free to see the waterfront, many foreign tourists come to this place just to see the waterfront.

If I look at the Waterfront in Malaysia and urban Singapore, it is a view that we cannot miss and is the only view there, but things are different with the Waterfront in Pangururan City. This dancing fountain is located on the edge of Lake Toba where the view is very beautiful, surrounded by lake water that looks bluish like sea water, a series of green hills and is still far from air pollution. This is very fresh and from morning to evening you can walk around Pangururan City and visit tourist areas which are scattered around and close to each other. You can rent a motorbike and enjoy the mountain views and local customs.

And regarding accommodation, there are lots of cheap accommodation around the waterfront and if you are too lazy to rent a motorbike, you can take a walk on the aesthetic bridge around Panguruan. If you travel here you will not lose at all and there will be no regrets here. Don't worry, this area is safe and very friendly for tourists. If you are Muslim, be careful when looking for food because there is a lot of non-halal food here, but there is also a lot of halal food here so you don't need to worry that you will go hungry. And don't forget to taste the avocado and mango shrimp typical of Samosir Island. So let's come to Panguruan to start your journey in North Sumatra, Indonesia.

Let's explore Lake Toba and wait for my next trip. Greetings from maytom, Indonesia
