Indeed that clock is a masterpiece, hard to believe 600 years ago they managed to build such a complex machine, all mechanical and still in working condition.

That makes me wonder how much knowledge we've lost over the years. How many people are able to read that clock? In the end, with all the technology we have today we are unable to make the most of what we have.

 There is always a trade off in the course of evolution. In another 100 yrs only the AI will know most of the fundamentals, the humans will be too busy living the dream in the metaverse :)

Oh yeah. AI is already becoming a problem these days... take for instance aviation. I watched a video about that Airbus that crashed going from Brazil to France; one of the reasons was because the auto-pilot misunderstood some data and the pilots failed to control the airplane themselves (because they relied on auto-pilots way too much).
