Hello all travellers, I would like to tell you how I spent my weekend from Salerno, an important tourist resort in the Campania region, to Procida, the 2022 capital of culture.

I got to Salerno by train with the Frecciarossa.

I knew some friends of mine who have a boat, so I thought I would take their boat to Ischia, which would be my first experience on a sailing boat.

I realised that it's a great experience if the sea isn't rough, otherwise it's really dangerous for those suffering from seasickness to travel by sailboat, but in about an hour we arrived on the island of Ischia, one of the most beautiful and interesting islands in Campania.

observing an island from the boat is a whole other point of view and you appreciate it much more

Of course together with my friends we stayed in a bed and breakfast that I found at a super discount on Booking and since we had arrived almost at night we decided the next day to take a nature hike on the island of Ischia, I am not a super lover of archaeological sites when I go to these more naturalistic places I try to enjoy these unspoiled parts of the places I visit.

we have not resisted to the perfumes that arrived of the various restaurants therefore we are stopped in one of these to taste something of good I have taken practically a first spaghetti and clams a specialty of the zone that the waiter has recommended me.

I was certainly impressed by the beautiful sea and the various shades it had, sometimes you don't have to go so far to find that.

The next day, when we were fresh and rested, we took the boat and went to Procida, which has become famous thanks to the many films that have been shot on the island.

We can say that the beauty of this island is the fact that it manages to combine beautiful natural landscapes with very historical places, but the strong point is still the beautiful sea. Unfortunately, it is less known in the world than Capri and Ischia, but it is definitely worth a visit.

I close this post with this photo that I took from the hotel that hosted us for the last night before returning home I hope you enjoyed these photos and I hope you have the opportunity in the future to visit these places are wonderful
