After upgrading Prosperity to its highest level, the mission to rescue Rush took a tragic turn. At the fertilizer plant, a failed first attempt led to a new strategy, neutralizing threats before triggering the timer. A keycard and quick action freed the hostages, but Mickey revealed more bomb-rigged rescue challenges ahead.
This was my last conversation with Rush while he was alive. Yeah, he died later, sadly. He was happy as I got Joseph on our side. He said we need to invest more ethanol into our specialties and their facilities.

As upgrading the facility is the key to getting Prosperity back up and running again, I started upgrading the facilities and I could upgrade four facilities with the ethanol I had. I still needed to upgrade three more facilities before upgrading Prosperity.

I had to earn a lot more ethanol so I went out to earn them. To earn/get enough ethanol, I mostly liberated outposts (I liberated each and every outposts and gathered any ethanol I could) and I found some from airdrop loot.
Then I came back and upgraded the three needed facilities.
Then I went for upgrading Prosperity and fortunately, I didn't need any ethanol there cause I didn't have much left. So, the Prosperity got upgraded to level 3 which is the highest.
Then I had to talk to Kim Rye and she said Rush was gone, who was going out to do some recon, but never came back. Kim requested me to go search for him when she'd look after the people at Prosperity.
I took a chopper and started flying towards the fertilizer plant where Rush was kept by the evil twin sisters. When I reached there, Mickey started talking to me in one way, through a speaker and said there were more peoples hostage there.
I had to reach the trapped hostages and as soon as I reached that door of the destroyed silo, a timer explosive was activated and I had to turn on the breaker to let the hostages escape in 1:30 minutes.
I was following the pipes that I was suggested to, which took me inside a building where I had to fight some guard dogs. Time was ticking and I could find the breaker so I climbed up on the roof to see what happens if I fail and the explosive in the silo blew up, along with the hostages.
The mission was failed so I tried different strategy this time. I didn't reach the silo which starts the timing. I decided to kill the guard dogs first that kills time and then look for the breaker first.
There was no timer ticking in my ears and this time I could follow the pipes staying calm. And I found the breakers though I didn't turn it on, I just made it ready.
Then I noticed a highwayman there who had a big health bar. I shot him down with continuous headshot and then I found a dead body that was burned, where I found a key card.
I went to the silo and I didn't understand what just happened there. The task completed before it started. The door got opened as soon as I reached it and the hostages escaped. I guess I turned on the breaker with the bullets or maybe the keycard that I just found earlier did it.
Well, I didn't win the challenge yet. Mickey said there's more and I got no choice as I f*** with them. Four more spots of hostages where I'd have to defuse time bombs now.
How about we continue in another post?

Thanks a lot.
The way you handled the second attempt without triggering the timer, made it sound like a puzzle, mixed with action. Reading how you planned it step-by-step almost feels like watching a scene from a movie.
Thanks a lot. I love when gameplay feels like storytelling, so I'm happy you enjoyed it.
Your second attempt sounded so much more methodical, and it's interesting how preparation changed the whole outcome. That kind of tactical thinking is fun to read about.
Thanks. Taking time to plan really made a difference in how it played out.
