I used my spectral vision to follow a shimmering psychic trail, pausing to test my powerful new fireball ability on a group of demons. I located the cursed doll and cleansed it, which revealed a woman's spirit who had been protecting her brother from a curse.
I searched the area for clues using my spectral vision, an picked up a psychic trail. I followed the shimmering path, knowing it would lead me directly to the "evil dead" or the source of the corruption the spirit had warned me about.
While following the doll's trail, I was forced to stop when several demons blocked my path. I decided this was the perfect time to test my latest power. It was awesome, I launched a fireball that took down the enemy instantly, proving just how much stronger I've become.
I resumed my hunt, tracking the trail as it led me higher. It eventually climbed straight up toward the rooftops, forcing me to find a way up to stay on the trail of the cursed object.
Once I reached the roof, I found a group of headless demons in school uniforms waiting for me. I had to engage them hard fight, taking them down one by one until the roof was finally clear.
In the heat of the chase, I accidentally fell off the roof. As I was trying to get back on track, I was ambushed by another headless demon. I made short work of her, taking her down with pleasure before continuing my search.
I came across a telephone booth and took a moment to transfer the spirits I'd gathered. It felt good to clear some space in my katashiro, ensuring I was ready to absorb more spirits as I moved forward.
After searching the surrounding area, I finally located the cursed doll sitting on a roof. I immediately began the cleansing ritual, focusing my energy to break the dark spell that had taken hold of it.
Once the doll was purified, a woman's spirit emerged from it. She thanked me and explained that someone had been using the doll to curse her brother. She had been staying inside it to protect him, but they became separated. On my way back to the owner, I made sure to save a few more spirits lingering nearby.
I returned the doll to its owner at the Shiroyama Shrine. The man's spirit was shocked to learn that his sister had been watching over him from inside the doll all this time. With the truth revealed and the curse broken, his spirit was finally freed, finding the peace he had been looking for.
With that task finished, I prepared to head toward the Kagerie Observation Deck. Before leaving the shrine grounds, I made a final sweep of the area and absorbed the remaining spirits.
