Duel of Demons : Bloody Battle

This story is a continuation of the story I told in my previous post. After I retrieved the cursed bow, at least that's what the masked, creepy-looking stranger kept warning shoots me with his bow (cursed), I suddenly lost consciousness and was brought to a different dimension.

When I was awake, the masked man was standing at my back and kept talking about how the bow was cursed, and warned me that I was only searching for my death.

It turned out that the masked stranger was Tengu Demon who's been guarding the cursed longbow of Uchitsune this whole time, preventing anyone who searching for it succeed. I soon come to realized that our surrounding were full of bloods everywhere and there were huge number of crows flying in circles around us. It seems that the crow creating a battle arena for us to fight to the death.

The battle between us was inevitable. My entire body was covered with bloods. Even the grass was bloody. I am so thrilled for that fight. My heart fill so much excitement and to be honest I don't want it to finished quick. I want to enjoy it as long as I can, no matter how many times I die.

Tengu Demon ready his sword. While me watching his mask. I really wish the mask will drop after I beat him. It look so cool. I really like to wear it.

My sword was ready as always. The amount of blood was insane. Even on the hilt of the sword was covered in blood.

Tengu Demon swung the first attack, I am dancing with the crow, dodging Tengu's attack, trying to learn his attack pattern. It was fun!

I also try to learn my attack. How much damage I can dealt to Tengu. To my surprise, Heavenly Strike cost so much resolve at that time but only reduce a tiny amount of Tengu's vitality. That's a bad trade. I started to regret for not upgrading my skills and my sword. It's too late tho, haha.

Another Heavenly Strike. Tengu's body really tough. He can take a lots more Heavenly Strike compare to the giant. The giant was just a joke, a training dummy compared to Tengu's vitality.

I had to kept my distance and learn his attack's pattern. It was new attack pattern for me to learn and I am so happy. Tengu's attack was faster, hit harder, and his frequency of attack also more compare to Elite Boss that I fought.

Tengu's attack can be dodged, of course, if I timed it right. One mistake risk me a lot, since my vitality volume was still laughable. So I dodged, rolled sometime, and got hit a lots.

The fight was much more challenging because I am trying to hit the photomode at the right moment to take the shoots. It was fun. The way their clashed their sword and facing each other right infront of the face, looking each other eyes, was so cool.

We exchanged hits countless time. Whenever Tengu almost reached his end, I back off and let him kill me, so I can repeat the battle again and again and again. This battle will not happening everyday in Tsushima, so that's what I do to enjoy it while it still there. haha

I had to admits, there was time when I am not in control of the fight. I was defeated a few time in early battle. I use all stance trying to enjoy the fight. To be able to witness such amazing skill like kicking Tengu's face was awesome. I was laughing while doing it. Although it's hard to time it right, since his attack was faster, it's so thrill and fascinating experience.

This was the fight that gave me experience so much blood on the screen, and so much confusion because of the crow that endlessly flying around make it harder to focus the fight and at the same time capturing moment in photomode. After a lot of battles with Tengu, and die like I lost count, I finally learn that this once stance can easily beat him. The other stance is not bad, but this stance seems dealing more damage, and fast counter for Tengu's attacks.

I already unlocked all stance (Stone, Water, Wind, and Moon), and in this battle againts Tengu Demon, I trained all the stance just to enjoy the fight I yearn so much. After a while, I finally want the battle to end. So I switch to my first learned stance, the Stone Stance. It has straight forward attack, and dealing a lots of stabbing damage to Tengu.

Tengu was able parry the stone stance heavy's attack, and he's been doing it couples of time. So I just kept repeating it to see what he will do to avoid his true death. The heavenly strike is a flashy skill. Really beautiful skill, but it dealt less damage and cost me lots of vitality at the moment. So it was not a wise choice to use it since we exchanging hits quite a lots.

Our sword clashed and I got push back. Tengu was about to attack me from behind, realizing that, I am ready to dodge it or roll out of it.

I managed to avoid Tengu's attack from the back. As soon as I get up after I rolled, he was already about to swing his sword to cut me. It was peak moment at this time, I am about to die, and so did Tengu. We both at the end of our vitality. One mistake can kill any of us at this moment.

I managed to strike a heavy stab on Tengu before his attack land. My sword pierced his heart. His sword fell from from his grip. That's the sign of his death and my victory.

I am so grateful for this battle. It was amazing fight.

Now, I still wish for the mask to drop tho... Unfortunately, it didn't drop. The mask stay with Tengu.

After I defeated Tengu, all of sudden, I (Jin) blacked out, lost consciousness again. The crow started to fill the screen up, reducing, shrinking the circle area. But, in the end of bloody battle and noisy crow, bloody grass turned to green, and flowers begin to show their true color.

I waked up, regained my consciousness. At that moment, I realize that the cursed has been broken, the legendary longbow of Uchitsune now has a new owner, new master. I will take care of this powerful longbow from now on.
