Ascending from the Underworld - Days Gone.

Deacon got a second chance, thanks to Kouri how asked Deacon to join him but Deacon still had to help Sarah getting out of the shithole. Then Deacon heard the Colonel sent his men to Lost Lake so he decided to get there first and come back for Sarah later.

Taking the Santiam Highway, I was heading North as that route should be clear now and its the fastest way. And suddenly I noticed a checkpoint on the highway that was not there before.

I hit a wire directly as I didn't notice it from a far and I heard someone saying, "It's the traitor, kill him". Yeah, there were militia soldiers at the checkpoint and they started trying to shoot me down but you know I'm one step ahead of them.

After taking down a heavy-armored enemy who was carrying a flamethrower, I shot down couple more militia soldiers when they were talking about having permission to shoot me on sight.

After changing position, I noticed there were more of them and they used a big area for the checkpoint. I had to move away a car that was blocking the outer way after taking care of the soldiers there.

I continued riding forward and noticed another checkpoint where more militia soldiers were waiting to shoot me on sight. That's the tunnel I needed to pass to get to Lost Lake and I noticed two snipers started aiming at me.

When a flamethrower was coming to take me down, I threw a grenade on him and blast him away. When I stood up to shoot down a sniper, I got shot from another one.

Then there was a guard whom I noticed hiding behind a cover after I shot down one sniper out of two and was going deeper. I threw a Molotov on that man and burned him down.

Now there was only one sniper left who was looking around for me from the top of the tunnel. When he was confused about my location, I shot him down.

Then I went back to my bike, rode it towards the tunnel to find it was blocked. I used a grenade to blow up the obstacles on the tunnels entrance.

When I thought I was done taking down all the militia soldiers on my way already, I found bunch more at the other side of the tunnel and I showed no mercy to them.

You won't understand how good it felt seeing those Lost Lake Resort signs after a long time. Deacon got to talk to Boozer and Rikki on his way and they did sound like it was bad there.

But when I reached the camp, I didn't find any militia soldiers to fight with and the peoples were saying they made the enemies run away.

Deacon went looking for Mike and found him on deathbed after getting shot badly. Mike asked Deacon if he found his girl and Deacon lied to him that he even brought Sarah here and then Mike died after a moment.

Deacon went out to give a speech towards the crowd and said Militia will come back for them and kill every last one of them unless they hit first.

Then Deacon made some plans with Boozer and Rikki and I get to play around this side of the map again.
