Trapped in cages with the team, I discovered Rocket's anger drew the attention of Cosmo, the space dog. Mistaken for allies of the evil twins, the guardians explained corruption of Nova Corps. After negotiations, Peter struck a deal, investigating Hala's Hope in exchange for dropped charges.
I got back out of the flashback and saw some puppies barking around me when I was stuck in a glass cage. There was Drax and the evil twins in separate cages in front of me and Gamora was in another one beside me.
I tried hard but didn't know how to get out of there. Then I noticed that camera over our head where I waved and asked for help but still there was nothing.
But after I waved at the camera, I saw some guards brought Rocket and Groot there and imprisoned them in other cages. Rocket was on the cage beside me and I was trying to poke him, which made him angry.
Making Rocket angry actually worked as that bored a space dog who was watching us and who was behind us being caged there. We were somehow got unconscious or maybe just got teleported to another place.
Then I remembered this space dog is actually Cosmo whom we were looking for. Cosmo was seen in the movie's vol 3 as well.
Cosmo thought the guardians were working with the evil twins and when Peter said it was a misunderstanding and that they were on Nova corps, Cosmo wanted to know what the guardians saw there.
The guardians said the Nova corps were killing each other, and they kept talking about a promise during the ritual with the priest.
Cosmo asked his operator to show some possible priests and Peter recognized the old man that's with the Nova as his shuttle exploded on Hala's Hope.
Then Peter suggested they'd investigate the Hala's Hope for Cosmo as none of his teams returned. Cosmo asked what the guardians wants in return and Peter said they want Cosmo to contact Nova Corps HQ and drop their charges.
