Story Of An Emotional Father

Hi there,

It is time to see one more story directly related to a father. In my previous blog, we saw an abusive father and in this blog, we will see a different dimension of the same world - an emotional father who wants his son back. Arthur has to decide here, whether to help the father or the son! He can help only one of two but not both.

Let's start an emotional journey hidden in the RDR 2 world!

It is the morning time again. I had a sleep and was all set to go on the next journey.

While crossing the Lemoyne, I came across this rail section.

A few Dacoits were looting the train. I got my first job! I intervened and cross-firing started.

They were 4-5 dacoits hiding inside the train and I got them one by one.

They looted a few wagons and stashed the money in the horse cart. I killed the first as they were about to run away. In cross-firing, the horse cart was badly damaged!

After killing the team, I went inside the train to check for leftovers.

I got a few canned foods and ornaments.

All the main stuff was already looted.

I went inside the passenger's wagon.

Everyone escaped the wagon.

I went to the engine to start the train and hopped off to clear the track.

I took the horse cart with me. But it was hard to ride it due to the damage that it had.

I kept it slow and wanted to take it to Emerald Ranch and sell it off.

But a boulder came in between and my entire cart broke down. Mission failed successfully!

I jumped on my horse and the same boulder made my horse fall too. I helped my horse to stand. I ride back to the Rhodes town.

Ther this beggar asked me for money/ I gave him and he gave me the tip that a boy is trapped in the basement of a arms and ammunition shop.

I followed his tip.

I went to the side of the shop and this boy started talking to me.

He asked for my help to get out of the shop. I wonder what went wrong with him.

I looked around for the entrance to the basement.

I went on the roof to jump from the chimney. But no it was not allowed.

I finally went inside the shop which this basement was a part of.

I lassoed down the shop owner.

I went to his register machine and got all the money. He kept some good money! $30.

But soon I got the wanted level so I escaped the shop and ran to lose my wanted level.

I came back again and saw the same boy asking for help from others.

I asked him what was wrong with him. He said he was not the son but looked like the son of the shop owner and confusingly shopowner caged him in the basement.

I got the idea now.

I went to the shop.

And this time I pointed my gun at him to ask about the basement.

He toned down and led me to the basement.

He kept the boy in high security.

I came down with the owner to the basement.

I asked the owner what's going on between them.

Initially, he said the boy was his son and the boy was not in his mind. But I knew he was hiding something so I put more pressure on the owner.

Finally, the boy stood up and said that he was not his son and the son of the shop owner died before. The man was so emotional that when he saw this new boy, he thought that the boy was his son and took him.

While they both were speaking up, I took up a few collectibles from the shop.

After their talks were completed. I now know that the father (owner) was in trauma after losing his son and that's why he caged this look-alike boy and treated him like his son.

I sided with the boy and let him go.

The boy went up.

Finally, the father broke down in tears and told me the entire story. He said that he loved his son and was not able to manage his emotions.

He pointed me to the photographs of his late son.

I saw his family photograph. And yes the boy was looking similar considering the facial features.

The father completely broke down in emotions and I was not able to see it as well so I went up too.

This was the story, opposite of what we saw in my blog - The Toxic Father Blog

Your epic action of shooting all the robbers from horseback was amazing, I see you as a very great cowboy

Yeah, I maxed my bonding with the horse. This allows me to shoot from innovative angle.

That's a real emotional story.

While they both were speaking up, I took up a few collectibles from the shop.

So, you were looting at the time when they were talking emotions? LOL. @tipu curate 8

Yeah, It was a gun shop and I was low on ammo. And I saw that no police were approaching me so I thought it's better to you know - just window shopping! haha!

Haha, well said and well done.

I was very curious to see a real one just recently with this curiosity and what you can do to save the child or just leave him to his fate haha.

I loved the train mission and how after seeming to have saved the day you can never be confident that your wagon won't get wrecked and add a successful failure to the whole day hahaha.

I wanted to know the worth of that wagon but sadly It wrecked to nothing.

What a sorry story between the boy and the gun store owner, I didn't expect this game to have such motions.

Question.

In the game can you do things freely or does it have a main mission where your character's story takes place?

You can do many things freely. I cover many things except the main story.
