I know I am pretty late to following its hype, but I finally found the time to play it, and boy, this remake shoots horror and action into the stratosphere. I've lost count of the amount of times I've died, yet pushing onwards with a crazy amount of loot and Leon finesse.

Though, understandably, the gameplay does kind of feel repetitive and this has to do with the same remake formula used from the last 2 remakes. But there's so much crazy in here, it's hard to keep up sometimes. I've played assuming around close to 8hrs, and boy, Chris might have to push his boulders harder on the next game. Meantime, enjoy a nice few shots from photo mode.

This was right after going through the village onslaught from the first chapter, it was almost dusk and felt ominously quiet at first. Like how the lighting creeps around.

Found in the temple, probably an ominous foreshadowing of a giant troll battle later on.

I fought the giant fish, that guy didn't pull my leg so much, but getting practice on the throwing spear helped. This is afterwards, Leon waking up around night time. RE Engine still brings a nice shine to decrepit places, especially with its lighting.

Some point in time, after fending off the villagers from multiple areas, I started fighting them in caves, and secret layers. But there were so many puzzles and errands to do for the merchant. Those kept me busy from the usual curve stomping action.

Of course, I was getting closer to my goal of finding Ashley and rescuing her. I wanted to farm more for the upgrades and fancy new weapons. I wasn't satisfied the current loadout I had, I wanted more. More ballistics and exploding heads, of course.

The man himself, never a dull day for him. His shooting range was on his left, I tried it out and came with crazy rewards. This is the first one in the village, later ones comes much further in the game. And I sure as heck am going to flex my skills infront of Ashley this time.

Arrived to the church, a puzzle that is asking me to look for a missing piece and align it to fit the portrait was interesting. Not as neat as the one aligning marvel balls inside the manor room, though.

Baby Eagle has been retrieved, but the jig was up. They found us, and I might be shishkebab if I don't get it together. Funny enough, I got passed through them easily with some crowd-control and also finished the bonus errand of killing this super-sized dog.

Luis and me holding the fort, while an onslaught of enemies were pouring in on us. Nothing like a shotgun, handful of grenades, and some barricades couldn't fix. Round 2 upstairs was a different story though, man I like it when games let me kick out ladders. It's great.

The remake looks great, I like the way it looks.
