Cuando era una adolescente y llegaba ese momento en noveno grado en el que debíamos elegir si en ciclo diversificado estudiaríamos ciencias o humanidades. La elección dependía de nuestras inclinaciones y de los estudios que pensábamos cursar una vez que nos graduáramos de bachiller.
Como suele ocurrir a la mayoría de las personas les agradan las carreras de administración, economía, ingeniería civil o de sistemas, medicina, odontología, entre otras, por lo que se inclinaban a graduarse como bachilleres en ciencias, pero si alguien quería estudiar letras, historia, derecho, comunicación social, solían irse por la opción de humanidades, estos por lo regular eran pocos lo que terminaba en que se crearan alrededor de seis secciones en ciencias y por lo regular solo dos de humanidades.

También solía verse a las personas que se inclinan a estudiar estas carreras como bichos raros, excéntricos o hippies, pero cuando comenzamos a estudiar a medida que nos adentramos en los deberes que debemos cumplir o en las habilidades que debemos adquirir o pulir para obtener el tan anhelado título profesional no damos cuenta de lo importante que son las humanidades.
Para quienes tal vez lo desconozcan, existen ocho ramas principales de las humanidades son: filosofía, historia, literatura, arte, música, lingüística, religión y antropología, las cuales se complementan entre sí.
Ahora bien, creo firmemente que aunque están infravaloradas y hay cada vez menos personas que se inclinan a estudiar carreras relativas o relacionadas con ellas, las humanidades son necesarias, pues nos enseñan o perfeccionan habilidades que se pueden necesitar en el diario acontecer de cualquier persona, como el expresarse de manera correcta, el conocer palabras, enriquecer el vocabulario, cultura general, por mencionar algunos.

Por ejemplo cuando era una joven adolescente detestaba estudiar historia sobre todo la de Venezuela, pero a medida que crecía y gracias a la orientación de mi madre y profesores aprendí la importancia de conocer la historia tanto la nacional como la universal en el caso de la historia nacional, el estudiarla nos permite adentrarnos en nuestra identidad, comprender las tradiciones, valores y más de nuestras naciones, permitiéndonos comprender de dónde venimos y hacia donde vamos, aunque yo iría más allá, ya que nos permite ver donde erramos, para evitar volver a cometer esos errores o comprender porque estamos donde estamos.
Esto solo por mencionar una de las carreras relativas a las humanidades, pero yo no puedo imaginar un mundo sin literatura, arte de la expresión verbal, o el que dejaran de existir los músicos o el arte en general, que son expresiones de emociones o de lenguaje universal, las humanidades para mí, aunque no estén de moda, son necesarias, es alarmante ver a las personas cada vez hablar peor, manejar un menor número de vocablos lo que no favorece una mejor expresión y ni hablar de como escriben, pero lo peor es que ya no les importa ni interesa, corregir sus posibles errores, mediante lectura o aprendiendo de diversas maneras teniendo actualmente tantas posibilidades online.

Creo que el principal motivo por el que muchas personas ya no ven las humanidades como una opción educativa, es el que desean estar más cerca de carreras, más prácticas y/o técnicas que les permitan ganar más dinero, ya que tristemente las relativas a las humanidades están en muchos casos muy mal pagadas.
En conclusión, las humanidades y las carreras relativas a esta para mí son necesarias ante la involución de los seres humanos, en cuanto al mal uso de la palabra oral y escrita, desconocimiento de la historia en general y la ignorancia galopante que muchas veces se debe a decisiones propias y buscar el dinero de la manera más fácil, considerando que ya el estudiar no es necesario. When I was a teenager and that moment came in ninth grade when we had to choose whether we would study science or humanities in the diversified cycle. The choice depended on our inclinations and the studies we planned to pursue once we graduated from high school.
As is usually the case, most people liked the careers of administration, economics, civil or systems engineering, medicine, dentistry, among others, so they were inclined to graduate with a bachelor's degree in science, but if someone wanted to study literature, history, law, social communication, they usually went for the humanities option, these were usually few, which resulted in the creation of about six sections in science and usually only two in humanities.
People who are inclined to study these careers used to be seen as weirdos, eccentrics or hippies, but when we begin to study as we get into the duties we must fulfill or the skills we must acquire or polish to obtain the longed-for professional degree, we do not realize how important the humanities are.
For those who may not know, there are eight main branches of the humanities: philosophy, history, literature, art, music, linguistics, religion and anthropology, which complement each other.
Now, I firmly believe that although they are undervalued and there are fewer and fewer people who are inclined to study careers related to them, the humanities are necessary, because they teach us or perfect skills that may be needed in the daily life of any person, such as expressing oneself correctly, knowing words, enriching vocabulary, general culture, to mention a few.
For example when I was a young teenager I hated to study history especially that of Venezuela, but as I grew up and thanks to the guidance of my mother and teachers I learned the importance of knowing history both national and universal in the case of national history, studying it allows us to delve into our identity, understand the traditions, values and more of our nations, allowing us to understand where we come from and where we are going, although I would go further, as it allows us to see where we went wrong, to avoid making those mistakes again or understand why we are where we are.
This is just to mention one of the careers related to the humanities, but I cannot imagine a world without literature, art of verbal expression, or that musicians or art in general, which are expressions of emotions or universal language, would cease to exist, the humanities for me, although they are not fashionable, are necessary, it is alarming to see people speaking worse and worse, handling a smaller number of words which does not favor a better expression and not to mention how they write, but the worst thing is that they no longer care nor are they interested in correcting their possible mistakes, by reading or learning in different ways, having nowadays so many possibilities online.
I think the main reason why many people no longer see the humanities as an educational option, is that they want to be closer to careers, more practical and / or techniques that allow them to earn more money, since sadly those related to the humanities are in many cases very poorly paid.
In conclusion, the humanities and careers related to this for me are necessary in the face of the involution of human beings, in terms of the misuse of the spoken and written word, ignorance of history in general and the rampant ignorance that often is due to their own decisions and seek money in the easiest way, considering that studying is no longer necessary. Amiga. Interesante tema, es bien amplio y desde tu punto de vista se puede ver un sentir de una gran mayoría. Hoy en día muchos no ven a las humanidades con la importancia que tienen, pero afortunadamente existimos personas como tú y yo que nos encantan. Gracias por la invitación♥️😘
Hola, amiga bella, tú y yo sabemos la importancia que tienen las humanidades. Aquí mismo en HIVE leemos a veces publicaciones en las que es notorio que los autores poseen poco vocabulario. Se te quiere, por cierto, revisa la comunidad, tienen una nueva iniciativa, pero creo que esta sigue vigente.

La profesion de abogados o de comunicador social me parecen muy importantes, el que estudia literatura creo que la tiene dificil porque no es facil ser un escritor, crear novelas e historias, la musica necesita mucha pasion y amor por eso y tolerancia a bastantes ruidos ( a mi me gusta la musica, sin embargo yo se que no me gustaria ir aun concierto con guitarra), quizas me gustaria el violin el piano, pero no se si me gustaria estar en un concierto con tanto ruido.
Los que estudien letras o literatura deben leer mucho, tener una excelente ortografía o estar dispuestos a tenerla si no la tienen por completo, En cuanto a los músicos, es una carrera que requiere muchos años de dedicación y esí hay ciertos instrumentos que atormentan un poco.
