INICIATIVA: El fenómeno de los Emojis [ESP-ENG]

En está ocasión venimos con una iniciativa un tanto particular. El pasado 17 de julio se celebró el día mundial del Emoji o World Emoji Day y sabemos que el emoji es una imagen digital que se usa en las comunicaciones digitales. El emoji proviene de Japón, etimológicamente la palabra emoji es una palabra compuesta que significa imagen-carácter. Shigetaka Kurita creó este sistema de símbolos y creo que no imaginó que tendría la trascendencia que ha tenido.

Desde su creación a finales de los años 90 los emojis han tenido un rol importante en nuestra comunicación. Por un lado, los emojis se han podido identificar de acuerdo a las características de cada generación de los seres humanos, sin embargo, hay que considerar que la pandemia generó un movimiento muy importante que aceleró la inclusión de los emojis como fuente de transmisión de información.

Actualmente podemos ver como puede darse toda una conversación solo con emojis, también es sabido por todos que usar emojis en las conversaciones por mensajería han podido dotar de tonos a las conversaciones. Incluso, podemos usar un emoji al final de una oración o párrafo y considerarse un signo de puntuación como el punto y seguido o punto y aparte.

Si no estamos equivocados cierta universidad de E.E.U.U realizó un estudio donde se puede contemplar como un emoji puede tener una connotación totalmente diferente dependiendo de la persona que lo ha usado. INICIATIVA:

## INITIATIVE: The Emoji Phenomenon

This time we come with a somewhat particular initiative.
