Al hablar de creatividad se me viene a la mente la creación del mundo, del universo, el cielo, las estrellas, los animales y, por supuesto, la creación del hombre.

Independientemente de nuestras creencias religiosas, haciendo una reflexión, debemos coincidir que alguien o algo debe haber hecho semejante obra. Nosotros, los que creemos en Dios, estamos convencidos de que él es el responsable de tanta maravilla y que, por tanto es el principal promotor y fuente de creatividad al juntar piezas, si podemos llamarlo de esa manera, en forma progresiva hasta llegar a formar el universo y cada ser viviente sobre la tierra.

When we talk about creativity, the creation of the world, the universe, the sky, the stars, the animals and, of course, the creation of man come to mind.
Regardless of our religious beliefs, upon reflection, we must agree that someone or something must have done such a work. We, who believe in God, are convinced that he is the one responsible for so much wonder and that, therefore, he is the main promoter and source of creativity by putting together pieces, if we can call it that way, in a progressive way until the universe and every living being on earth are formed.

Así vemos que para ser creativos, primero debemos utilizar nuestra conciencia a fin de definir realmente lo que queremos y hacia donde vamos, a quién va dirigido y qué efecto producirá nuestra creación a quienes la reciban. La idea es que nuestro trabajo sea siempre para algo positivo, aunque existen personas que crean y se inventan cosas para dañar a los demás.

La creatividad es algo que ya viene en el paquete cuando cada ser humano fue creado. Para mi la creatividad es un don que nos permite llevar a cabo las cosas que imaginamos y que, a través de un proceso secuencial, basado en nuestra propia experiencia de vida, lo podemos materializar.

En mi infancia solía construir mis propios juguetes. Con un carrete de hilo y pedazos de madera hice un camión grúa que podía levantar cosas pequeñas. También le coloqué un motor de cuerda encima de un frasco de plástico, le amarré dos paletas de helado y al darle cuerda y colocarlo encima del agua flotaba y navegaba como una lancha de motor.Son ejemplos de lo que podemos hacer solo con nuestro ingenio y sin utilizar costosos materiales.

So we see that in order to be creative, we must first use our conscience to really define what we want and where we are going, to whom it is directed and what effect our creation will have on those who receive it. The idea is that our work is always for something positive, although there are people who create and invent things to harm others.
Creativity is something that comes in the package when every human being was created. For me creativity is a gift that allows us to carry out the things we imagine and that, through a sequential process, based on our own life experience, we can materialize it.
In my childhood I used to build my own toys. With a spool of thread and pieces of wood I made a crane truck that could lift small things. I also put a wind-up motor on top of a plastic jar, tied two popsicle sticks to it, and by winding it up and placing it on top of the water it floated and sailed like a motorboat, examples of what we can do with our own ingenuity and without using expensive materials.

Podemos ser creativos simplemente cuando decidimos cambiar nuestra apariencia física para salir de lo común: un peinado diferente, cambiar el color de nuestra vestimenta, usar algo que nunca hemos usado, entre otras tantas decisiones que podemos tomar en nuestro día a día.

¿Qué necesito para ser creativo o mejorar mi creatividad?
Todos tenemos la capacidad de innovar y crear cosas nuevas, solo basta tener un cerebro y estar dispuestos a aprender y nutrirnos para mejorar esas creaciones. Una de las formas de aumentar nuestros conocimientos es mediante la lectura de libros de cualquier temática, que nos ayudan a aumentar nuestro léxico o vocabulario y le dan alas a nuestra imaginación.

Sabemos que el internet ha sustituido a los libros, a tal punto que cualquier título es posible hallarlo on line. Sin embargo, soy de la guardia vieja y me gusta hojear, subrayar, releer y marcar las páginas de un buen libro para sacarle mejor provecho. No me gusta leer desde la computadora o desde el teléfono porque me distraigo y se me pierde la lectura y por ende me cuesta captar las ideas principales.

We can be creative simply when we decide to change our physical appearance to get out of the ordinary: a different hairstyle, change the color of our clothes, wear something we have never used before, among many other decisions we can make in our daily lives.
What do I need to be creative or improve my creativity?
We all have the ability to innovate and create new things, we just need to have a brain and be willing to learn and nurture ourselves to improve those creations. One of the ways to increase our knowledge is by reading books on any subject, which help us to increase our lexicon or vocabulary and give wings to our imagination.
We know that the internet has replaced books, to such an extent that any title can be found online. However, I am of the old guard and I like to browse, underline, reread and mark the pages of a good book to get the most out of it. I don't like to read from the computer or from the phone because I get distracted and get lost in the reading and therefore find it hard to grasp the main ideas.

En conclusión, la creativad, la conciencia y los libros son los ingredientes básicos para aumentar nuestro intelecto y mantener una mejor visión de a donde queremos llegar. Estos trés elementos son inseparables pues mantienen una estrecha relación que favorecen nuestro mejor desenvolvimiento a la hora de innovar y crear.

Agradezco a @humanitas por esta iniciativa que nos ayuda a refrescar conocimientos en este tema tan importante para los credores de contenido de esta plataforma.

In conclusion, creativity, awareness and books are the basic ingredients to increase our intellect and maintain a better vision of where we want to go. These three elements are inseparable because they maintain a close relationship that favors our better development when it comes to innovate and create.
I thank @humanitas for this initiative that helps us to refresh our knowledge on this topic so important for the content creators of this platform.
