Today I open the trunk of memories to go back to that morning when I went to La Copa hill with my family and my husband's family, this hill is quite imposing, from there it seems to dominate the entire population of Montalban, it is 1810 meters high, but fortunately we didn't have to walk there, but rather we went in my sister-in-law's husband's Jeep. It was very early but we all had our batteries charged and we were full of expectations. What I liked most about being up there, besides the wonderful views of the town and the other mountains, was seeing a mare nursing her foal, it was something very tender.
Hoy abro el baúl de los recuerdos para remontarme a esa mañana en que me fui al cerro La copa con mi familia y la familia de mi esposo, este cerro es bastante imponente, desde allí parece dominar a toda la población de Montalbán, tiene 1810 metros de altura, pero afortunadamente no tuvimos que caminar hasta allí, sino que nos fuimos en el Jeep del esposo de mi cuñada, era muy temprano pero todos teníamos las pilas cargadas e íbamos llenos de expectativas. Lo que más me gustó de estar allá arriba, además de las maravillosas vistas del pueblo y las demás montañas fue ver a una yegua dándole de mamar a su potrillo, fue algo muy tierno.
The fog covered the other mountains around and it was a little cold, well actually I didn't feel that cold, it must have been because at that time I was very fat, I'm still amazed when I see those old photos, thank goodness I lost weight.
La neblina cubría las otras montañas alrededor y hacía un poco de frío, bueno en realidad yo no sentía tanto frío, será porque en esa época yo estaba muy gorda, todavía me asombro al ver esas viejas fotos, menos mal que adelgacé.
Although there were times when the cold intensified, perhaps due to the altitude. Another thing that I will not be able to forget is that it was one of the few moments in which the family was almost complete, my husband's nephew even accompanied us, who was murdered a few years later, it was something very sad, but I like to remember it as He was that day, happy with us, sharing pleasant moments with his family.
Aunque había momentos en que el frío se intensificó, quizá debido a la altura. Otra de las cosas que no podré olvidar es que fue uno de los pocos momentos en que la familia estaba casi completa, incluso nos acompañó el sobrino de mi esposo, a quién asesinaron unos años después, fue algo muy triste, pero me gusta recordarlo como estaba ese día, feliz con nosotros, compartiendo gratos momentos junto a su familia.
That day we had a delicious barbecue that we enjoyed even more with the great weather, the beautiful views and the company.
Ese día comimos una deliciosa parrillada que disfrutamos todavía más con el clima estupendo, las hermosas vistas y la compañía.
We were all amazed by the intense blue color that the sky has when you are at that height and the children were in turn amazed to see the town down there in the distance, they even played to look for their houses, taking as reference the church, but the truth is that at that distance I couldn't make out much.
Todos estábamos asombrados con el intenso color azul que tiene el cielo cuando uno está a esa altura y los niños estaban asombrados a su vez al ver el pueblo allá abajo a los lejos, incluso jugaban a buscar sus casas con la mirada, tomando como referencia la iglesia, pero la verdad es que a esa distancia yo no podía distinguir mucho.

Que lindos recuerdos, poreso amo los jueves de TBT. Las fotos increíbles, se observa que el frío es tremendo, qué bueno que disfrutaron bastante en esa visita, es un cerro bastante alto.
