Today is #TBT Thursday!. Perfect time to remember and reflect on our past experiences, those that marked a before and after, building the people we are today. I don't think I've ever mentioned this on Hive before, but after my first job at McDonald's and right after graduating in computer science, I ended up working at the same company where I did my internships. We are talking about a special time and a lot of learning in my life that started in 2009 and culminated in 2012, and to this day it has been a school of what it is to move in the administrative world.
¡Hoy es Jueves de #TBT!. Momento perfecto para recordar y reflexionar sobre nuestras experiencias del pasado, esas que marcaron un antes y un después, construyendo a las personas que somos hoy en día. Creo que nunca había mencionado esto en Hive, pero luego de mi primer trabajo en Mc Donald's y justo al graduarme en informática, terminé trabajando en la misma empresa donde hice mis pasantías. Estamos hablando de una época especial y de mucho aprendizaje en mi vida que inicio en 2009 y culminó en 2012, y hasta hoy ha sido una escuela de lo que es moverse en el mundo administrativo.
I didn't have many photographs left from that time, but I did have good friendships, and although we don't see each other, they are still in contact with me, and all the people of this company were the main witnesses of how music called me and little by little I moved away from the offices. I asked for many permits to travel to Caracas and have concerts, but all of them were granted. This company was called Sapanna at that time, and it was in charge of the protection of minors in Aragua, whether at the shelter, educational or even penal level. I entered the company to work in the IT department when I did my internships, although that department was never developed.
No me quedaron muchas fotografías de ese entonces, pero vaya que sí me quedaron buenas amistades, que aunque no nos vemos siguen estando en contacto conmigo, y es que todas las personas de esta empresa fueron los testigos principales de como la música me llamaba y poco a poco me apartaba de las oficinas. Fueron muchos permisos los que pedí para viajar a Caracas y tener conciertos, pero todos me los concedieron. Esta empresa se llamaba Sapanna en esa época, y se encargaba de la protección a los menores de edad en Aragua, ya sea a nivel de casa abrigo, educativo y hasta en la parte penal. Entré netamente para trabajar en la parte de informática cuando cursé mis pasantías, aunque nunca se desarrollo ese departamento.
I not only worked on the IT side, I had to justify my existence here 😅 so I learned about human resources, planning, budgeting and programming of programs and projects. Three years in public administration that made me learn of everything that is required for a company to function properly, although I also evidenced counterproductive things in this and others that made agreement, after all it is governed by governance and nothing is perfect, but I began to identify how human relations are at the professional level, and wow it is a pattern that is repeated to this day, but I already know how to deal with it.
No solo trabajé en la parte de informática, tuve que justificar mi existencia aquí 😅 así que aprendí de recursos humanos, planificación, presupuesto y programación de programas y proyectos. Tres años en la administración pública que me hicieron aprender de todo lo que se requiere para que una empresa funcione correctamente, aunque también evidencié cosas contraproducentes en esta y otras que hacían convenio, después de todo es regida por la gobernación y nada es perfecto, pero comencé a identificar como son las relaciones humanas a nivel profesional, y vaya que es un patrón que se repite hasta hoy, pero ya sé como afrontarlo.
In the end I left here at a time when I thought I could continue learning more, and just when I was getting a taste for various office and event work, far removed from my computer studies, but the negative side of public administration won and I preferred to retire gracefully. It was one of the best decisions I have made, because at the beginning of 2013 I told myself that I would dedicate myself to music, not knowing if I would be successful or not, but I left everything, work, friendships and even my house and my city. In retrospect today I can say that it was worth it and I remember these times with a big smile on my face. There are many valuable people in my life from those times, although not all of them are in these photos, but I believe that each of the people who worked there in those years left a learning experience in me, for better or for worse.
Al final me fui de aquí en un momento donde pensé que podría seguir aprendiendo más, y justo cuando le agarraba el gusto a varias labores de oficina y de eventos, muy lejano a mis estudios de informática, pero la parte negativa de la administración pública ganó y preferí retirarme elegantemente. Fue una de las mejores decisiones que he tomado, porque al comenzar 2013 me dije que me dedicaría a la música, sin saber si tendría éxito o no, pero lo dejé todo, trabajo, amistades y hasta mi casa y mi ciudad. En retrospectiva hoy puedo decir que valió la pena y recuerdo estos tiempos con una gran sonrisa en mi rostro. Hay mucha gente valiosa en mi vida de esos tiempos, aunque no todos salen en estas fotos, pero creo que cada una de las personas que trabajaron ahí en esos años dejaron un aprendizaje en mí, para bien o para mal.
I was here from my 21 to my 24 years old, coinciding with my return to music, the time where I fell in love easy and the time where I grew my hair inspired by Gustavo Dudamel 😅 Who is now my wife was one of the most influential people in my life change in 2013, and the first thing she did when we started to be friends was to end this long hair look.... I think since then she started to build me up and today I'm at her mercy 🤣 Thanks for reading, and for your great support, I say goodbye with this picture of a time when I was asked to do a Christmas parranda, and I took my family to sing with me. I remember that everyone was very happy and the boss said that was precisely what she wanted for the Christmas sharing ❤️hugs!!!!
Estuve aquí desde mis 21 hasta mis 24 años, coincidiendo con mi regreso a la música, la época donde me enamoraba fácil y el tiempo donde me dejé crecer el cabello inspirado por Gustavo Dudamel 😅 Quien ahora es mi esposa fue una de las personas más influyentes en mi cambio de vida en 2013, y lo primero que hizo cuando comenzamos a ser amigos fue acabar con este look de cabello largo... Creo que desde entonces comenzó a construirme y hoy estoy a su merced 🤣 Gracias por leer, y por tu gran apoyo, me despido con esta fotografía de una vez que me pidieron una parranda navideña, y llevé precisamente a mi familia a que cantaran conmigo. Recuerdo que todos estaban muy felices y la jefa dijo que era precisamente lo que quería para el compartir navideño ❤️abrazos!!!

At the time it was a difficult decision, to achieve the job I have today was just a dream, but I decided to do it because I felt God himself tell me that this was the right path, he told me through the same music one day in church. Today I see that it was destined, and for that I must thank and use my singing for God. Thank you for noticing and for your great support ❤️
Saludos amigso, sin duda son años donde uno tiene que hacer de todo para asi poder avanzar, lograr cosas y genial que hayas conseguido trabajo, amigos y a la final irte por el camino que mas te gusta, ya que acer las cosas por obligacion no es nada bueno y ahora eres un gran musico y de todo eso que pasaste es experiencia.
Así es David, quedan los buenos amigos y los conocimientos adquiridos, pero el viaje continúa y me alegra que mi destino haya sido la música, así que seguiré apostando por este camino. Muchas gracias hermano 🙏

Fue un camino largo para llegar hasta aquí, no todos los músicos académicos logran una estabilidad en una agrupación de prestigio, así que mientras Dios me permita estar aquí pondré todo mi corazón y empeño. Gracias Luisa, te quiero mucho amiga mía 🙏
Me encantó leer tu pos @jesuslnrs. Tuviste tu experiencia en l administración pública que eso es importante porque se aprende bastante, me nos mal que decidiste salir a tiempo, no como en mi caso que tengo 27 años de servicio como contador y no me jubilan porque no tengo la edad y por tener miedo a retirarme y que me fuese mal en otro lado me quede ahí pero bueno ni modo antes fueron tiempo muy buenos en la administración pública. en ese sitio uno se relaciona bastante y también dej buenas amistades.
Nosotros somos muy influyente con nuestros esposo fíjate tú esposa te hizo cambiar en lo referente al corte de pelo.

Jajajaja, ¡Hola querida Morelbis!. Feliz de leerte, y disculpa el olvido, últimamente los Jueves y Viernes han sido de full actividad, pero en ansío que llegue la Semana Santa para dedicarme a Dios, Hive y el descanso... Bueno, te cuento que la coral también es administración pública jajaja, pero por alguna razón se siente muy distinto, quizás por el tipo de trabajo o el placer de hacer lo que amo, no sé, pero precisamente eso nos hace pensar mucho en el futuro. También es algo novedoso, creo que nadie se ha jubilado aún. Lamento que te hayas sentido así en tu trabajo, pero lo comprendo a la vez, aunque me reconforta saber que como creyente tuviste la fuerza suficiente para asumir lo que Dios puso en tu camino. Yo veo tus #tbt y veo una vida hermosa, y deseo con todo mi corazón que siga siendo así para ustedes 🙏 Gracias por pasar y comentar, sabes que significa mucho para mí este apoyo ❤️

This throwback is more like a surprise. I never knew that you graduated in Computer Sciences and you did job in IT sector of a company. I always used to think that you are a musical soul, musician, who might have studied music and pursuing it from university level. That's what my perception was! How wrong was I......
No little brother hahaha, although I've always been a musician, due to my adolescence I moved away for a long time, and I think that's why it was so hard for me to take up music again. I didn't sing from the age of 12 until I was 23, and when I came back there was a lot of competition. Now after 30 is that I have managed to catch up and excel a little, but I forgot all the programming and computer stuff hahaha, I think if my PC is damaged I would have to look for a technician to help me 😅

Saludos hermano, por aquí ando mirando tus recuerdos, que bonito, oye como pasa el tiempo, es muy emotiva esta publicación, por otro lado no sabia de tus conocimientos en informática, somos colegas entonces jajajaja, yo me gradué de ingeniero es informática en el 2018, y que buenos que veo que tienes también otra área de conocimiento hermano.
Sí bro, yo recuerdo que eres ingeniero. Yo solo llegué a TSU, y aunque me iba bastante bien creo que ya he olvidado mucho de la programación. Igual no me afecta, la música era mi destino jajaja, y le saqué buen provecho en su momento. Muchas gracias por pasar y leer y especialmente por comentar, no imaginas todo lo que me ayudas a mí con eso, por eso mi gratitud contigo es grande y eterna...
