Un Dia en Parque Zoológico Bararida. (Esp/Ing)

Hace poco se presentó la oportunidad de realizar dos actividades que me gustan en un mismo día, como lo es compartir en naturaleza y realizar fotografías. Pues realice una visita al Parque zoológico y botánico Bararida, que se encuentra en la ciudad donde vivo. Barquisimeto, Venezuela.

Esta visita estuvo genial porque estuvo organizada por un grupo de personas que promueven encuentros fotográficos. Ellos se llaman Rally Fotográfico y son una plataforma que realizan concursos y actividades relacionadas al mundo de la fotografía, en la cual participo activamente y menciono que esta visita estuvo genial porque durante el recorrido por el parque contamos con guía excepcional; Moisés, conocido en las redes sociales como @fido_art. Moisés no solo es Licenciado en Artes y fotógrafo talentoso, sino que también forma parte de los Guardaparques Universitarios. Gracias a su conocimiento cada omento se transformo en una oportunidad para aprender sobre la vida de estos animales y como bono extra el compartía con todo el grupo algunos trucos que el aplica a la hora de tomar sus fotografías

Para todos los que somos amantes de la fotografía y la naturaleza estos encuentros resultan momentos ideales intercambiar conocimiento, experiencias y sobre todo de la magia de poder disfrutar del arte de observar a través de nuestros lentes.

Primeros momentos en el Parque.

Nos reunimos en la entrada del parque en horas de la mañana, el sol ya se encontraba en todo su esplendor y el calor barquisimetano se hacia sentir, una vez que estaban todos los citados para el encuentro comenzamos el recorrido, Moisés a medida que comenzaba el recorrido nos hablo de la importancia del parque para la conservación de las especies e inmediatamente entendimos que no seriamos solo unos visitantes del parque sino que seriamos participantes activos en toda una experiencia de aprendizaje y exploración.

Nuestra primera parada fue en el área donde se encuentran los venados caramerudos, son animales realmente hermosos, un poco tímidos y muy observadores, allí comenzamos a dispara nuestras primeras fotos en un intento de capturar la belleza de estos personajes.

Entre fotografías y Suma de Conocimientos.

Luego de observar a los venados fuimos a visitar a el oso frontino, un símbolo emblemático en nuestro país, ver al oso en persona es una experiencia gratificante y que conmueve al conocer historias de como han sido rescatados y a su vez llena de alegría ver que con los cuidados que reciben en el parque han logrado recuperarse.

Moisés compartió con nosotros anécdotas y datos interesantes sobre estas especies, y sobre la importancia de la conservación.

El parque tiene una variedad de animales muy interesantes como los avestruces. Que posaron para nuestras cámaras mientras se alimentaban y que cuando estas un poco cerca de ellas te sientes un poco intimidado por su gran tamaño; también vimos los flamencos, el oso hormiguero que es el animal que aparece en logotipo del parque. Pasamos un rato muy agradable al observar a la nutria pues parecía que disfrutaba nuestra visita y buscaba llamar nuestra atención con sus trucos y cuando tenía oportunidad buscaba mojarnos, cosa que le hacia gracia a varios de los visitantes, así vimos una gran variedad de animales.

Desde el punto de vista de la fotografía para mi fue un reto bastante interesante pues la luz del sol estaba bastante dura por así decirlo y el contraste entre las tomas bajo la luz o la sombra eran bastante marcadas, así que durante el recorrido realice varios ajustes y a su vez probar con diferentes encuadres para lograr capturar las fotos tal cual las estaba pensando.

El parque Bararida fue un escenario perfecto para practicar técnicas, experimentar entre estilos y el compartir con otros colegas hizo de la experiencia algo para recordar.

A Day at Bararida Zoo and Botanical Garden.

Recently, I had the opportunity to do two things I love on the same day: enjoy nature and take photographs. I visited Bararida Zoo and Botanical Garden, located in the city where I live, Barquisimeto, Venezuela.

This visit was great because it was organized by a group of people who promote photography events. They are called Rally Fotográfico and are a platform that organizes contests and activities related to the world of photography, in which I actively participate. I mention that this visit was great because during the tour of the park we had an exceptional guide, Moisés, known on social media as @fido_art. Moisés not only has a degree in arts and is a talented photographer, but he is also part of the University Park Rangers. Thanks to his knowledge, every moment became an opportunity to learn about the lives of these animals, and as an added bonus, he shared with the whole group some tricks he uses when taking his photographs.

For all of us who love photography and nature, these encounters are ideal moments to exchange knowledge, experiences, and above all, the magic of being able to enjoy the art of observing through our lenses.

First moments in the park.

We met at the park entrance in the morning. the sun was already shining brightly, and the Barquisimeto heat was already noticeable. Once everyone had arrived, we began the tour. As we started, Moisés told us about the importance of the park for species conservation, and we immediately understood that we would not just be visitors to the park but active participants in a whole learning and exploration experience.

Our first stop was in the area where the red brocket deer are found. They are truly beautiful animals, a little shy and very observant. There we began to take our first photos in an attempt to capture the beauty of these creatures.

Between photographs and learning.

After observing the deer, we went to visit the spectacled bear, an emblematic symbol of our country. Seeing the bear in person is a rewarding and moving experience, learning stories of how they have been rescued and, in turn, filled with joy to see that with the care they receive in the park, they have managed to recover.

Moisés shared anecdotes and interesting facts about these species with us, as well as the importance of conservation.

The park has a variety of very interesting animals, such as ostriches. They posed for our cameras while they were feeding, and when you get a little close to them, you feel a little intimidated by their large size. We also saw flamingos and anteaters, which are the animals that appear in the park's logo. We had a very pleasant time watching the otter, as it seemed to enjoy our visit and tried to get our attention with its tricks. Whenever it had the chance, it tried to splash us, which amused several of the visitors. We saw a wide variety of animals.

From a photography point of view, it was quite an interesting challenge for me because the sunlight was quite harsh, so to speak, and the contrast between the shots in the light and the shade was quite marked. So, during the tour, I made several adjustments and tried different frames to capture the photos exactly as I had imagined them.

Bararida Park was the perfect setting for practicing techniques, experimenting with different styles, and sharing with other colleagues, making it an experience to remember.
