Damn Gaz, you've been on a thesis writing mission again haha! Love it! It's awesome that you've seen so many of the great acts live, would have loved to have been around at the time these guys were in their prime and just commanding the audience like Jim Kerr did in the video you shared!

I was not expecting to see Amy Lee of Evanescence in this list but she certainly brings a lot of energy and power to the group and remember their debut well as it came out during my A levels if I remember correctly! Wasn't so much in to the heavy rock/metal side of things but if it gets the blood pumping then get thrashing!

I really know very little about the rock genre but finding out the multi talents of Dave Grohl increased my respect hugely to him - basically a 1 man band in the beginning! Beast mode activated!

Freddie... nothing else to say. What a legend, sends shivers down my spine as I watched that (ironic given that's one of the lines in that rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody)!
