Hola amigos de #Lifestyle hoy les cuento como realizamos la campaña de la lucha contra el cáncer de mamas en mi trabajo. Esta campaña es muy importante a nivel mundial para evitar que esta enfermedad siga aumentando las cifras de enfermos y muertes, por eso en PDVSA se lleva a cabo todos los años a través de la Gerencia de Salud, y se adornas los espacios, oficinas, se colocan los lazos que simbolizan este día, se realizan conferencias informativas sobre las medidas preventivas y este año hasta realizaron ecos mamarios a las trabajadoras.

Hoy en Carúpano oficina de Pdvsa Gas, ubicadas en Macarapana tuvimos diversas actividades y nos vestimos de Rosa y/o Blanco algunos hombres para conmemorar las actividades del mes Rosa. Asistimos al conversatorio para refrescarnos la campaña de Tócate para que no te toque, porque aunque nos explican a veces se nos hace dificil tocarnos para validar si tenemos algo extraño en las mamas, además hicieron incapie en lo importante de llevar una vida libre de estrés y llevar una buena alimentación. Me llamo la atención lo que opinaron algunas trabajadoras, porque se sentian abordadas día a día por la situación inflacionaria del pais y eso les afixia y se les hace imposible no estresarse. Yo creo que alejar el estrés de nuestras vidas cuando se tiene muchos problemas es dificil.

Today in the Carúpano office of Pdvsa Gas, located in Macarapana we had various activities and some of us men dressed in pink and/or white to commemorate the Pink month activities. I was struck by what some of the workers said, because they felt that they were being approached day by day by the inflationary situation of the country and that makes them feel stressed. I believe that it is difficult to keep stress away from our lives when we have many problems.

Algo en lo que se debe tomar consciencia es que este tipo de cáncer también ataca a los hombres, por eso se convoco a la masa laboral masculina a participar de forma activa en las actividades de este día. Luego de la conferencia con mis compañeros de oficina estuvimos colocando globos rosados en la oficina y compartiendo el café y hablamos de lo importante de compartir estos momentos y concientizarnos de sobre esta enfermedad.

Something to be aware of is that this type of cancer also attacks men, that is why the male workforce was called to actively participate in the activities of this day. After the conference with my office colleagues we were placing pink balloons in the office and sharing coffee and talked about how important it is to share these moments and raise awareness of this disease.

Mi jefe en la oficina no se quedo atrás con la compaña porque aunque no se vistio de color rosa, uso el lazo, y me felicito por colaborar en la organización del grupo para vestir de rosa y ser parte activa de esta campaña.

My boss at the office was not left behind with the campaign because although she did not wear pink, she did wear the ribbon, and she congratulated me for collaborating in the organization of the group to wear pink and be an active part of this campaign.

Les comparto una fotografía con una mujer luchadora que paciente de cáncer de mamas y hoy día a superado el paso por esta enfermedad, se trata de una compañera de trabajo muy valiosa y que es un ejemplo de que si se puede luchar por la vida.

Sin dudo un día rosa lleno de emociones en el trabajo, porque estuvimos en patio para escuchar la charla de impartidad por la gerencia de seguridad industrial sobre el desalojo ante un posible incendio. Fue algo de coincidencia con el día mundial de la lucha contra el cáncer de mamas, pero le puso a nuestro día algo de dinamismo y energía.

No doubt a pink day full of emotions at work, because we were in the courtyard to listen to the talk given by the industrial safety management about the evacuation in case of a possible fire. It was a bit of a coincidence with the world day of the fight against breast cancer, but it gave our day some dynamism and energy.

Desde mi experiencia personal este día me recuerda mucho a mi madre que una víctima fatal a los 56 años de esta enfermedad, no hay un día en que no la recuerde y la extrañe, por eso es importante para mi la lucha contra el cáncer de mamas, y les invito a tomar las previsiones y no esperar a última hora para realizar tu autoexamen y las revisiones médicas que te correspondan.

From my personal experience, this day reminds me a lot of my mother who was a fatal victim of this disease at the age of 56, there is not a day that goes by that I do not remember her and miss her, that is why it is important for me to fight against breast cancer, and I invite you to take the necessary precautions and not wait until the last minute to perform your self-examination and the corresponding medical check-ups.
