Hace algún tiempo pude observar la modificación de este espacio en la ciudad, un túnel que pasa debajo de los castillos y que ahora parece un paso a otra dimensión y eso me encanta. Todo eso blanco que ven es nuevo y cuando entras en él suena música maravillosa, muchas veces clásica y otras moderna.

Ese mágico túnel, así lo llamó yo desemboca en zonas de mucho verde, jardines y paseos, creo que por eso me gusta atravesarlo. También se puede llegue dando toda la vuelta por el centro histórico, pero este es un atajo. Pasé por esos jardines, me senté un rato, a admirar los árboles y las palomas, son graciosas, para luego seguir por una agradable caminata y disfrutar del domingo en medio de mucha artesanía. Los domingos son los días ideales para encontrar mucho arte y mercadillos.

Luego de caminar un rato por paseos con mucha sombra, a pesar de ser otoño hacía calor y había bastante humedad, me dirigí a la zona del paseo marítimo, en donde las formas de esparcimiento son de lo más variadas para todos los gustos, desde museos, cafeterías, artesanías, paseos, barcos, tiendas de ropa, tiendas de entretenimientos, restaurantes y mucho más.

Some time ago, I noticed changes to this space in the city, a tunnel that passes under the castles and now looks like a passageway to another dimension, which I love. All that white you see is new, and when you enter it, wonderful music plays, often classical and sometimes modern.

That magical tunnel, as I call it, leads to areas with lots of greenery, gardens, and walkways, which is why I like to go through it. You can also get there by going all the way around the historic center, but this is a shortcut. I walked through those gardens, sat down for a while to admire the trees and the pigeons, which are funny, and then continued on a pleasant walk to enjoy Sunday surrounded by lots of crafts. Sundays are the perfect days to find lots of art and flea markets.

After walking for a while along shaded paths, despite it being autumn, it was hot and quite humid, so I headed to the promenade area, where there are a wide variety of leisure activities to suit all tastes, from museums, cafes, crafts, walks, boats, clothing stores, entertainment stores, restaurants, and much more.

En el día de ayer había mucha gente, demasiada gente y el motivo es que se celebraba el día de la Hispanidad, un gran día para todo el pueblo español y la gente estaba de fiesta, todo el país. Había celebraciones por todas partes y por donde caminaba había gente disfrutando, además de que hoy lunes es festivo y la gente podía disfrutar del domingo hasta muy tarde.

A pesar de algunas nubes el clima estaba hermoso, como una extensión del verano, éste aún no se ha ido, pero ya los mercadillos han cambiado, todos los de la ciudad. Nuevas decoraciones, nuevos productos, sobre todo de otoño. La ropa que muestran es distinta, los distintos artículos.

He recorrido, desde que estoy aquí muchos mercadillos y los que están en el muelle uno o el paseo marítimo son los más hermosos, al menos para mí, porque son artesanales y muchas de las cosas que tienen me encantan, como los anillos, aretes, brazaletes, colgantes, decoraciones.

Yesterday there were a lot of people, too many people, and the reason was that it was Hispanic Heritage Day, a big day for all Spanish people, and everyone was celebrating, the whole country. There were celebrations everywhere, and wherever I walked there were people enjoying themselves. In addition, today is a bank holiday, so people could enjoy Sunday until very late.

Despite a few clouds, the weather was beautiful, like an extension of summer, which has not yet gone, but the markets have already changed, all of them in the city. New decorations, new products, especially for autumn. The clothes on display are different, as are the various items.

Since I've been here, I've visited many markets, and the ones on Pier One or the promenade are the most beautiful, at least for me, because they are handmade and I love many of the things they have, such as rings, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and decorations.

La ropa es de muy buena calidad y me gustó mucho los estilos que presentan los mercadillos este año, algunas prendas, diría que se pueden usar en invierno también, aquí el invierno no es fuerte o por lo menos yo no lo siento. Viniendo de un país donde hace mucho frío, incluso bajo 0, este clima es ideal, nunca hela. Por lo que el invierno de aquí me parece un otoño de Argentina. Me encantaron los chalecos y la variedad de ellos, sobre todo quedan muy bien sobre las camisas y blusas. Muy femenino y delicado.

Por supuesto los accesorios fue lo que más miré, incluso había un puesto particular, al cual no pude tomarle fotos, que pertenece a un argentino y el estilo de artesanía me lo indicaba también, además de su acento y vocabulario. Ese puesto tenía unos anillos preciosos.

Pero también verán aquí en las fotos, uno que desarrolla con resina y madera, todos motivos marinos, ese puesto es mi segundo favorito de este paseo. Todos los artículos eran maravillosos. También me encantan las esencias, los perfumes, y no me refiero a sahumerios, sino a esencias florales, esas me encantan.

Some of the garments could also be worn in winter, although winter here isn't very cold, or at least I don't feel it. Coming from a country where it gets very cold, even below 0, this climate is ideal, it never freezes. So winter here feels like autumn in Argentina to me. I loved the waistcoats and the variety of them, especially as they look great over shirts and blouses. Very feminine and delicate.

Of course, the accessories were what I looked at the most. There was even a particular stall, which I couldn't take photos of, that belonged to an Argentinean, and the style of craftsmanship also gave this away, as did his accent and vocabulary. That stall had some beautiful rings.

But you will also see here in the photos, one that he makes with resin and wood, all marine motifs, that stall is my second favourite on this trip. All the items were wonderful. I also love essences, perfumes, and I don't mean incense, but floral essences, I love those.

Este mercadillo está muy cerca de otro que siempre tiene decoraciones increíbles en el centro, pero éste pude recorrerlo menos tiempo, aunque estaba igualmente hermoso.

Como les contaba, había mucha gente, era difícil muchas veces, acercarse bien a los puestos, pero recorrí la mayoría y me gustaron un montón. Me parecía que había muchos puestos, más de lo habitual. Y seguí mi caminata hasta llegar a la farola que siempre es una belleza para mí.

Cerca de ella hay muchos bancos para descansar de la caminata o paseo y me quedé un buen tiempo allí, hasta que el sol comenzó a bajar, es ahí donde los paisajes más hermosos aparecen en la ciudad o por lo menos en este lugar, con los barcos como decoraciones hermosas del muelle.

There are many benches nearby where you can rest after your walk or stroll, and I stayed there for quite a while, until the sun began to set. That's when the most beautiful landscapes appear in the city, or at least in this place, with the boats as beautiful decorations on the pier.
