🌷🌿Un Cariño a las Plantas de mi Casa🌿🌷

Hola a todos, le deseo un excelente inicio de semana y espero que la estén pasando bien. Hoy escribo con el motivo de mostrarle y contarles sobre un cariño que le hicimos a las plantas de mi casa, les cambiamos las tierras, trasplantamos algunas y también sembramos algunas nuevas.

Hello everyone, I wish you an excellent start of the week and I hope you are having a good time. Today I am writing to show you and tell you about a little love we did to the plants in my house, we changed the soil, transplanted some of them and also planted some new ones.

Esta idea surgió en el momento que mi mamá fue a casa de mi tío a visitarlo y el le regaló dos grandes sábilas o aloe vera, son realmente grandes y obviamente mi mamá tenía que sembrarlas en la casa para sacarles provecho. También ese mismo día fue a casa de mi abuela y le regalaron una planta de espinaca sembrada en la mitad de un botellón o garrafón de agua.

Mi mamá llegó a la casa con aquellas plantas y también con un saco de tierra negra que aprovechó de comprar para cambiarle la tierra a las plantas.

This idea came up when my mom went to my uncle's house to visit him and he gave her two big aloe vera plants, they are really big and obviously my mom had to plant them in the house to take advantage of them. Also that same day she went to my grandmother's house and was given a spinach plant planted in the middle of a water bottle.

My mother arrived home with those plants and also with a sack of black soil that she bought to change the soil for the plants.

Nosotros nos llevamos una sorpresa cuando mi mamá llegó con esas dos sábilas, la planta de espinaca y un saco de tierra negra. Ella nos dijo que en lo que tuviéramos tiempo libre la ayudáramos a realizar esa actividad junto a ella. Ella llegó a la casa con las plantas un sábado y al otro día, el domingo, decidimos hacer eso ya que todos estábamos libres y aunque el domingo es un día que generalmente usamos para descansar, ese día hicimos la excepción porque en la semana no nos iba a dar tiempo de sembrar eso ya sea por el gimnasio, por el colegio o por el trabajo.

We were surprised when my mother arrived with those two aloe vera, the spinach plant and a bag of black soil. She told us that when we had free time we should help her to do this activity with her. She arrived home with the plants on Saturday and the next day, on Sunday, we decided to do that since we were all free and although Sunday is a day that we usually use to rest, that day we made the exception because during the week we would not have time to plant that either because of the gym, school or work.

Y nos pusimos manos a la obra, lo primero que hicimos fue sembrar una de las dos sábilas, la sembramos en una maceta que estaba desocupada y solo tenía tierra. Le sacamos esa tierra y le metimos una nueva y luego la sembramos, nos aseguramos de que quedara bien segura y que no estuviera floja.

The first thing we did was to plant one of the two aloe vines, we planted it in a pot that was unoccupied and only had soil in it. We took out that soil and put in a new one and then we planted it, we made sure that it was secure and that it was not loose.

Luego trasplantamos una planta llamada zamioculca, que en realidad yo la conozco como la planta de la fortuna o la millonaria, algo de lo que nos percatamos es que su raíz tenía una forma demasiado extraña, parecían unas pequeñas papas, yo quería probarla frita pero mi mamá dijo que no JAJAJAJAJA (sarcasmo)

Obviamente le quise tomar una foto por lo raro que me pareció y aquí se las comparto.

Then we transplanted a plant called zamioculca, which I actually know it as the plant of fortune or millionaire, something we noticed is that its root had a very strange shape, it looked like small potatoes, I wanted to try it fried but my mom said no HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (sarcasm).

Obviously I wanted to take a picture of it because of how weird I thought it was and here I share it with you.

Fue un trabajo de varias horas y además el calor en mi porche estaba muy fuerte, les cuento que últimamente ha hecho mucho calor en mi ciudad y ese domingo no fue la excepción, estuvimos sudando bastante mientras hicimos esa actividad pero era algo que debíamos hacer. Ese día lo último que hicimos fue sembrar la otra sábila o aloe vera en un porrón grande con decoración de flores que ha estado en mi casa desde muchos años atrás.

It was a work of several hours and also the heat on my porch was very strong, I tell you that lately it has been very hot in my city and that Sunday was no exception, we were sweating a lot while we did this activity but it was something we had to do. That day the last thing we did was to plant the other aloe vera in a large jar with flowers decoration that has been in my house for many years.

Terminamos bastante cansados todos, pero a la vez satisfecho por el trabajo que hicimos. Mi hermano se quedó limpiando el porche ya que estaba lleno de tierra por todas partes y al final terminamos tomando nuestro merecido descanso.

Agradezco que todo se haya dado y que justamente le hayan regalados esas 3 plantas el mismo día a mi mamá y lo mejor es que haya podido comprar el saco de tierra negra para hacerle un cariño a nuestras plantas que son muy importantes para nosotros.

We all ended up pretty tired, but at the same time satisfied with the work we did. My sibling stayed behind cleaning the porch since it was full of dirt everywhere and in the end we ended up taking our well-deserved rest.

I am thankful that everything worked out and that they gave those 3 plants the same day to my mom and the best thing is that I was able to buy the bag of black soil to give some love to our plants that are very important to us.
