Siempre que visitamos la hacienda de los abuelos de mi esposo, sea las razones que sean, disfrutamos mucho el explorar los alrededores, admirar la naturaleza y el hacer algo diferente como familia.
Esta hacienda tiene muchos años y mi esposo tiene muchas historias que contar en cualquier rincón de ella. A mi me encanta escuchar estas historias y conocer más sobre la familia.
Además me encanta estar rodeada de tantas plantas, animales y toda la paz que este sitio emana.

Whenever we visit my husband's grandparents' hacienda, whatever the reasons, we always enjoy exploring the surroundings, admiring nature and doing something different as a family.
This hacienda is many years old and my husband has many stories to tell in every corner of it. I love hearing these stories and learning more about the family.
I also love being surrounded by so many plants, animals and all the peace that this place exudes.
La casa está ubicada en la cima de una colina, es una casa amplia y rodeada de muchas plantas y flores, apenas se puede ver uno de los costados de ella en esta foto. Ya luego si es posible les hago un recorrido más adentro para que vean esa cantidad de plantas tan hermosas que tienen y sobre todo, tan variada.
Un poco más abajo, pero conectadas por un pasillo está otra casa, que es la de un tío de mi esposo y en donde en el porche se encuentra un taller mecánico, en el que el abuelo de mi esposo se la pasaba todos los días reparando piezas, acomodando motores y cualquier trabajo que se le presentara en cuanto a la mecánica.
Este era su espacio y estando ahí se siente su presencia en cada rincón.

A little further down, but connected by a hallway is another house, which is that of an uncle of my husband and where on the porch is a mechanical workshop, where my husband's grandfather spent every day repairing parts, accommodating engines and any work that came his way in terms of mechanics.
This was his space and being there you can feel his presence in every corner.
Como toda hacienda, cuenta con animales y actualmente ellos tiene varias vacas. No se cuantas exactamente, prometo investigar eso porque ahora que lo pienso me causa curiosidad.
Estos son unos becerritos los cuales dejan libres en horas de la tarde para que ellos puedan explorar, comer un poco y estirar sus paticas.
Yo no soy muy experta en el contacto con ellos, hice el intento de acercarme lo más que podía sin que se asustaran pero apenas estaba a unos metros me miraban y se movían.
En esta foto se ve uno de ellos comiendo flores, no me dio tiempo de capturar cuando se comió una pero me causó muchas risa porque no tenía idea que le gustaran. 😊
Like all farms, it has animals and currently they have several cows. I don't know exactly how many, I promise to look into that because now that I think about it I am curious.
These are calves which they let free in the afternoon so they can explore, eat a little and stretch their legs.
I am not an expert in contact with them, I tried to get as close as I could without scaring them but as soon as I was a few meters away they looked at me and moved.
In this photo you can see one of them eating flowers, I didn't have time to capture when he ate one but it caused me a lot of laughter because I had no idea he liked them. 😊
El tío de mi esposo, quien vivía con los abuelos, cría tortugas. Él fue quien nos regaló a Esmeralda y Laguerta. Actualmente tiene estas cositas hermosas. Son 5 tortuguitas bebés. yo no me pude resistir a verlas de cerca y tomar una con mis manos.
Cuando vi su carita me iba a morir de ternura. ♥♥ ¿No es una cosita hermosa?
My husband's uncle, who lived with the grandparents, raises turtles. He was the one who gave us Esmeralda and Laguerta. He currently has these beautiful little things. They are 5 baby turtles. I couldn't resist to see them up close and take one of them with my hands.
When I saw his little face I was going to die of tenderness. ♥♥♥ Isn't she a beautiful little thing?
La vista que se tiene hacia el frente de la casa esta un poco tapada por varios arboles que hay. Está rodeada por una cerca de ciclón pequeña para evitar que los animales se escapen o que los intrusos entren (otros animales o personas extrañas).
En la foto no se aprecia mucho lo alto o bajo del terreno pero en esta última foto se puede ver un poco que el terreno va en bajada, luego está una tubería y ya luego viene la carretera principal del pueblo.
The view to the front of the house is somewhat obscured by several trees. It is surrounded by a small cyclone fence to prevent animals from escaping or intruders from entering (other animals or strangers).
In the photo it is not very clear how high or low the land is but in this last photo you can see that the land goes downhill, then there is a pipe and then comes the main road of the village.
Algo que abunda acá son los cactus, estamos en un clíma árido y además de las plantas comunes hay muchos de estos cactus que han crecido tanto que se convirtieron en árboles. Tienen que pasar muchísimos años para que esto ocurra, así que este gran árbol de cactus, como yo lo llamo, de seguro tiene mucha historia que contar.
Es enorme y al estar cerca se siente esa vibra que tiene, yo amo los cactus pero a estos les tengo respecto y un poquito de temor para acercarme demasiado por esas grandes espinas que tienen.
Something that abounds here are the cacti, we are in an arid climate and besides the common plants there are many of these cacti that have grown so much that they became trees. It takes many, many years for this to happen, so this big cactus tree, as I call it, surely has a lot of history to tell.
It is huge and when you get up close you can feel the vibe it has, I love cactus but I have respect for them and a little bit of fear to get too close because of those big thorns they have.
