¡Hola Chicos!
En post anteriores les he contado que tuve la oportunidad de participar en una despedida de soltera gracias a mis sesiones de arte, una experiencia única y que me tomó gratamente por sorpresa.
Eran un grupo de cinco primas que se habían puesto de acuerdo para celebrar que una de ellas se casaba en dos semanas y me sentí súper halagada que escogieran mi actividad para vivir tan importante momento.
Ese día estuvimos pintando una versión diferente de la noche estrellada, un cuadro que se ha hecho súper popular en los últimos años y que la verdad yo amo pintar y explicar. Creo que todos deberían vivir la experiencia de tener su propia versión.

In previous posts I have told you that I had the opportunity to participate in a bachelorette party thanks to my art sessions, a unique experience and one that took me pleasantly by surprise.
They were a group of five cousins who had agreed to celebrate that one of them was getting married in two weeks and I felt very flattered that they chose my activity to live such an important moment.
That day we were painting a different version of the starry night, a painting that has become super popular in recent years and that I really love to paint and explain. I think everyone should have the experience of having their own version.
Ellas fueron avanzando súper bien en su cuadro sin ningún contratiempo. Primero hicieron el boceto, luego fueron pintando el cielo y cada una de las secciones del área de las montañas.
Me gusta separar estas zonas porque así son de fácil entendimiento para los participantes, sobre todo los que no tienen experiencia en la pintura, como fue el caso de ellas.
They were progressing super well on their painting without any setbacks. First they did the sketch, then they painted the sky and each of the sections of the mountain area.
I like to separate these areas because they are easy to understand for the participants, especially those who have no experience in painting, as was the case with them.
La sesión se estaba llevando a cabo en la casa de los papás de la novia. Su mamá aparecía de vez en cuando para ver lo que las chicas estaban haciendo y se impresionaba con sus progresos, pues como les comenté anteriormente, ellas son profesionales en otras áreas, ninguna relacionada con el arte.
Yo creo que todos tenemos la capacidad de pintar y de hacer buenas obras de arte, solo que algunos decidimos hacerlo una actividad frecuente en nuestras vidas y otros como ellas, no. Es chévere poder ser ese medio para que puedan reconectar con esta parte que está dentro ellas, ese amor por el arte y esa capacidad de hacer arte.
The session was taking place at the bride's parents' house. Her mom showed up from time to time to see what the girls were doing and was impressed with their progress, because as I mentioned before, they are professionals in other areas, none of them related to art.
I believe that we all have the ability to paint and make good works of art, it's just that some of us decide to make it a frequent activity in our lives and others, like them, do not. It is great to be that medium so that they can reconnect with this part that is inside them, that love for art and that ability to make art.
Durante la actividad ellas estuvieron disfrutando de los aperitivos que tenían en una mesita, los cuales les ayudé a acercarlos a su mesa de trabajo porque la mitad de la actividad estuvieron sin comer nada hasta que se dieron cuenta de esto jaja.
Ellas nos ofrecieron a mi hijo y a mi, lo cual agradecimos profundamente, pues esto no forma parte del servicio que brindamos. Mi hijo estaba algo apenado y no quería tomar nada de la mesa por respeto, por lo cual la novia le sirvió un poco de todo en un platito y se lo entregó para que pudiera disfrutar. Fueron súper atentas con nosotros desde el inicio.
During the activity they were enjoying the snacks they had on a small table, which I helped them to bring them closer to their work table because half of the activity they were not eating anything until they realized this haha.
They offered them to my son and I, which we were deeply grateful for, as this is not part of the service we provide. My son was a little embarrassed and didn't want to take anything from the table out of respect, so the bride served him a little bit of everything on a small plate and gave it to him so he could enjoy. They were super attentive to us from the beginning.
Ya los cuadros estaban llegando a la recta final. En donde más se suelen demorar son los detalles en el cielo, que las personas suelen pensar que son los más sencillos, pero una vez que los están haciendo se dan cuenta que es todo lo contrario.
Las chicas estaban bastante contentas y yo aproveché de tomarles una foto a mitad de actividad. En un próximo post les contaré el desenlace del taller y los resultados tan maravillosos que tuvieron todas. ♥
The paintings were already reaching the final stretch. The details in the sky tend to take the longest, which people usually think are the easiest, but once they are doing them they realize that it is quite the opposite.
The girls were quite happy and I took the opportunity to take a picture of them in the middle of the activity. In a future post I will tell you the outcome of the workshop and the wonderful results they all had. ♥

Además, qué bonito detalle de la novia al ofrecerle a tu hijo un platito con aperitivos. Se nota que fue un ambiente cálido y lleno de buena energía.
