Have you ever been a victim of disappointment in expectations before somehow I feel it is something common amongst people especially when you expect some certain things from them and they end up not living up to their end of the bargain. People have a way of doing things that ends up making a bad name for them and somehow it has become a part of the norm for disappointment to happen based on certain conditions.
There are different ways disappointment in expectations can happen and trust me it raises the mind and pressures the heart. For instance, I borrowed someone some money and for the past two weeks now he has been promising to pay back by this time and he keeps extending and extending. Just yesterday here, I needed some money badly and this person promised that by night time he would send the money to me till this morning as I am speaking I have not seen alert.
It's so sad that i had Great Expectations because I hard postponed what I wanted to do yesterday to today because I was assured that i would have my money back but reverse is the case now as it is disturbing and I am disappointed in the person as a whole for not living up to what he said.
In general, people seem to do this kind of things a lot and I would not lie it is hurtful especially when they have depended fully on that thing.
Thanks for stopping by my blog...

I think that happens to all of us to a greater or lesser extent. Especially when it comes to something that’s important to you personally.
Disappointment is part of growing up, because you either choose to get frustrated and let it affect you even more, or you do something to focus your expectations on something more reasonable and productive.
A word of advice: don’t lend that person any more money. 😅
