Every November 18th, we celebrate with great devotion, love, and faith the day of our beloved Virgin of Chiquinquirá. As is our family tradition, we gather at the Basilica of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá to further strengthen our faith and love for her. From a very young age, our mother instilled in us a deep and profound devotion to Our Lady of Chiquinquirá.
The people of Zulia gather on November 17th to await the beautiful dawn that announces the arrival of the day of our beloved Virgin of Chiquinquirá, and with emotion, we welcome the 18th, her long-awaited day. The faithful feel ever closer to her, asking for miracles and offering her gifts with humility and love.
I share with you the emotion and joy that my siblings and I feel, missing our mom very much, who we know is still with us, accompanying us❤️, and also, despite the distance, my other 2 siblings who live abroad.

Todos los 18 de noviembre celebramos con mucha devoción, amor y fe el día de nuestra chinita, la Virgen de Chiquinquirá, y, como es costumbre en nuestra familia, nos reunimos en la Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Chiquinquirá para fortalecer aún más nuestra fe y amor por la chinita. Desde muy niños, nuestra mami siempre nos inculcó una sólida y gran devoción por nuestra Virgen de Chiquinquirá.
El pueblo zuliano se reúne los 17 de noviembre para esperar la preciosa aurora que anuncia la llegada del día de nuestra Virgen Chinita, y con emoción recibimos el 18 su día tan esperado por los feligreses que se sienten siempre aún más cerca de ella para pedir milagros y entregarle ofrendas con toda humildad y amor por ella.
Les comparto la emoción y alegría que sentimos mis hermanos y yo, extrañando mucho a nuestra mami, que sabemos que sigue con nosotros, acompañándonos ❤️,> y también, a pesar de la distancia, a mis otros 2 hermanos que viven en el extranjero.
