One of the best things about living in Margarita is that you can make a beach plan in minutes and get there in no time. Today, Sunday, the heat was inferno and we had power outages, so we went for a swim at Playa El Yaque, our favorite. This beach is just a 10-minute drive away, close to the airport, and very easy to get to. Its landscape is desert-like; you'll know you've reached the end of the road once you pass the police station. You immediately begin to see the town mixed with the hotels.
We settled in the last few awnings near the pier. It's the most secluded area, but we love the water there, especially the girls. We all went into the water, which was spectacular, warm and refreshing. The sun went down and the heat subsided. We had a snack, unwinded, relaxed, and enjoyed the sea and the scenery. I love putting my toes in the sand and watching the girls run around, playing and having fun—it's the best part. A fact is that we went from around 2 to 5, and the awning cost us only $3, very affordable. I hope you had a great Sunday too. See you soon.

Una de las mejores cosas de vivir en Margarita es que te armas un plan de playa en minutos y llegas al sitio también en poco tiempo. Hoy domingo el calor estaba infernal y tuvimos cortes de luz así que nos fuimos a dar un chapuzón a Playa El Yaque, que es nuestra favorita. Esta playa nos queda a solo 10 minutos en carro, queda cerca del aeropuerto y es muy fácil llegar. Su paisaje es desértico, sabrás que llegaste al final de la vía pasando el comando policial, inmediatamente comienzas a ver el pueblo mezclado con los hoteles.
Nos ubicamos en los últimos toldos cerca del muelle, es la zona más solitaria pero el agua nos encanta en esa parte y sobretodo a las niñas. Todos nos fuimos al agua qué estaba espectacular, tibia y refrescante. De momento bajó el sol y disminuyó el calor, merendamos, nos desconectamos, nos relajamos y disfrutamos del mar y del paisaje. Me encanta meter mis pies en la arena, y ver a las niñas correr de aquí para allá, jugando y distraídas es lo mejor. Un dato es que fuimos como a las 2 hasta las 5 y el toldo nos costó solo 3$, muy económico. Espero que hayan tenido un domingo espectacular también, nos leemos pronto..

Hola amiga como estas? Que bueno ver otra usuario que vive aquí en la Isla de Margarita. Playa el Yaque es una de mis favoritas y se ve que la pasaron bien en familia. Que bueno que el toldo estuviera tan barato, sin duda en semana santa los precios sera una locura.
