[ENG-SPA] DANDO A CONOCER MI CLUB / RAISING AWARENESS OF MY CLUB

Hola Hivers👋!! Ya de nuevo por aquí!! Hoy les vengo a hablar de un club del cual soy Socio desde que se reactivó en el año 2019, y es Rotaract Dr Pablo Puky el cual se encuentra en el Distrito 4380 (en el cual funcionan varios clubes en conjunto como lo son los que están en los estados Zulia, Barinas, Mérida, Táchira, Falcón , Lara, Trujillo etc) la cual es un club que su nombre viene de Rotary en acción que está asociado a Rotary International⚙️ y es un club en el cual hay jóvenes a partir de los 18 años hasta los 30 años mas o menos.

Today I come to talk about a club of which I am a member since it was reactivated in 2019, and is Rotaract Dr Pablo Puky which is located in District 4380 (in which several clubs operate together as are those that are in the states Zulia, Barinas, Merida, Tachira, Falcon, Lara, Trujillo etc) which is a club whose name comes from Rotary in action which is associated with Rotary International⚙️ and is a club in which there are young people from 18 years to 30 years or so.

Rotaract es un club de servicio, el cual está conformado por su junta directiva (Presidente, Vicepresidente, Secretarío, Tesorero), aquí la junta directiva como los demás socios nos dedicamos a ayudar a la comunidad ya sea en obras sociales como charlas de ETS, Higiene Bucal, estas de la mano de médicos y odontólogos o expertos en el tema. Participamos en actividades en orfanatos llevándoles juguetes, ropa o comida, jugamos con ellos, hacemos compartir, hay tardes de películas y pasamos un rato agradable hasta que se acabe la actividad. En el orfanato que son solo para niñas las enseñamos a maquillarlas, les hablamos de la higiene personal que deben de tener etc.

> Rotaract is a service club, which is formed by its board of directors (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer), here the board of directors as the other members are dedicated to help the community either in social works such as STD talks, Oral Hygiene, these from the hand of doctors and dentists or experts in the field. We participate in activities in orphanages taking them toys, clothes or food, we play with them, we share with them, there are movie evenings and we spend a nice time until the activity is over. In the orphanage that are only for girls we teach them how to make up, we talk to them about the personal hygiene they should have, etc.

Vamos a los ancianatos y jugamos bingo con ellos, les llevamos kits de higiene (crema dental, cepillo, jabón para el cuerpo), de igual forma van médicos para tomarles la tensión y el azúcar.

We go to the old people's homes and play bingo with them, we take them hygiene kits (toothpaste, toothbrush, body soap), and we also go to doctors to check their blood pressure and blood sugar.

Se hacen jornadas médicas y de vacunación para niños y adultos, para Fiebre amarilla, Toxoide, Covid-19 dosis I y II, Pentavalente, Polio (inyectable y vía oral), sarampión, rubeola.

> Medical and vaccination days are held for children and adults for yellow fever, Toxoid, Covid-19 doses I and II, Pentavalent, Polio (injectable and oral), measles, rubella.

Hay muchísimas actividades que hacemos, hacemos reuniones del club una vez al mes para coordinar todas las actividades, hacemos compañerismos con otros clubes, subimos la montaña, plantamos árboles. Sería bueno que más personas se sumaran a estas actividades ya que allí conocemos más gente y servir al prójimo se siente bien.

> There are a lot of activities that we do, we have club meetings once a month to coordinate all the activities, we do fellowships with other clubs, we climb the mountain, we plant trees. It would be nice if more people would join these activities because we get to know more people and it feels good to serve others.
