Riendo tras la Cámara/ Laughing Behind the Camera🎥✨

Hola, pequeñas personitas.👀

Hoy quiero contarles una experiencia que, aunque fue sencilla, me recordó algo importante: lo mucho que amo grabar, crear y capturar momentos.✨

De pequeña siempre existió esa obsesión con la cámara. No sé por qué, pero me encantaba grabarlo todo. Al principio era solo un juego, como cuando de pequeños queremos documentar todo o mostrarle y contarle de todo a nuestros papás. Pero fue en tercer año de bachillerato cuando esa curiosidad se volvió algo más serio.

Como evaluación, nos pidieron recrear un video de un artista que fuera nuestro favorito. Sin embargo, yo no interpreté a mi artista favorito, pero si al video que creí que sería más fácil jasjaja. Escogí Lean on de Major lazer

A mi parecer, fue el video más producido, porque tuve que mover el colchón de mi hermano a la sala😅, poner cortinas de decoración y hasta bailar fuera de mi casa a dos metros del suelo, en un espacio donde apenas entraban mis pies.

Fue un video que no debía durar más de un minuto. Y estuve tres días grabándolo y editándolo. Lamentablemente, ese video se perdió con el tiempo, pero me gustó muchísimo todo mi esfuerzo y trabajo.

Desde entonces, los audiovisuales dejaron de ser solo un juego. Se convirtieron en una forma de expresión que me mueve y me llena.

Hace poco, mi hermanita recibió una tarea parecida. Le tocaba entrevistar a una persona de una academia deportiva, y como siempre estamos ayudándonos mutuamente, me pidió ayuda para grabarla.

Para intentar que no tuviera que escribirles a tantas academias, le propuse entrevistar a una amiga @noheliah que está en el mundo de ajedrez desde muy pequeña. Para que así la entrevista entonces fuera con alguien un poco cercano a quien pudiera explicarle con más facilidad todo… Y así fue como se dio una entrevista entre risas, preguntas sinceras y mucha colaboración.

Aunque no hubo luces ni una superproducción, fue especial. Me encargué de grabar con lo poco que teníamos, y a pesar de lo simple, disfruté cada segundo. Ver cómo fluía la conversación, cómo mi hermanita y sus amigos tomaban su rol de "entrevistadores" con risas y algo de nervios… fue bonito y divertido.

Hubo momentos en que las preguntas salían torcidas, otros en los que soltábamos una carcajada entre tomas, o simplemente nos deteníamos a mirar si la cámara seguía grabando. Fue un mini caos tierno, pero lleno de aprendizaje.💕

Today I want to share a simple experience that reminded me of something important: how much I love filming, creating, and capturing moments.✨

Since I was a kid, I’ve always had this weird obsession with cameras. I don’t even know why, but I loved recording everything. At first, it was just a game—like when you're little and want to document life or show your parents every little thing you see. But in my third year of high school, that curiosity turned into something more serious.

As part of a class assignment, we had to recreate a video from our favorite artist. However, I didn't perform my favorite artist, but rather the video that I thought would be easier, ha ha ha. I chose Lean on by Major Lazer.

And well… in my opinion, mine was the most extra production ever. I moved my brother’s mattress to the living room😅, decorated it with curtains and roses, and even danced outside the house on a tiny ledge where only my toes could fit—two meters above the ground.

It was supposed to be just a one-minute video. But I spent three days filming and editing it. Sadly, that video got lost over time, but honestly, I was proud of every bit of effort I put into it.

From that moment on, audiovisuals stopped being just a game. They became a form of expression that fills me and moves me deeply.

A few days ago, my little sister had a similar assignment. She had to interview someone from a sports academy. Since we always help each other out, she asked me to record it for her.

To make things easier (and avoid her texting a million academies), I suggested she interview a friend of mine @noheliah who’s been in the chess world since she was really young. That way, it would feel more natural—and it totally worked.

The result was an interview full of giggles, honest questions, and teamwork. We didn’t have fancy lights or a big production, but it still felt really special.
I filmed it with the little equipment we had, and even though it was all super simple, I enjoyed every second of it.

Watching the conversation flow, seeing my sister step into that “interviewer role” with a mix of laughter and nervousness—it was both sweet and hilarious.

There were moments where the questions got all jumbled up, others where we’d burst out laughing between takes, and times where we’d stop everything just to check if the camera was even still recording.
It was a tiny, chaotic mess… but it was full of learning—and love. 💕
