Greetings dear hives and #lifestyle friends, here I am once again with you. I hope you are all well. In these days approaching the elections, we have had more time at home, and having time for us is something I love. In some places, the atmosphere is a little tense in anticipation of Sunday's vote. We, since we don't have to work, take advantage of the time together, so we decided to take a tour of the city, since on Sunday we just have to go out and vote.
We left home, and when we were passing through the tunnel of oak trees that I like so much, since there were not many cars on the street, we stopped to appreciate a gigantic oak tree. I have no idea how old it might be, but it was so beautiful that I had to photograph it.

En estos días que se acercan las elecciones, hemos tenido más tiempo en casa, y tener tiempo para nosotros es algo que me encanta. En algunos lugares, el ambiente está un poco tenso a la espera de la votación del domingo. Nosotros, como no tenemos que trabajar, aprovechamos el tiempo juntos, así que decidimos dar un recorrido por la ciudad, ya que el domingo solo hay que salir a votar.
Salimos de casa, y cuando pasábamos por el túnel de robles que tanto me gusta, como no había muchos autos en la calle, nos detuvimos para apreciar un roble gigantesco. No tengo idea de los años que pueda tener, pero era tan hermoso que lo tuve que fotografiar.
Then we continued our way to La Vela shopping mall, since our son thought that the best way to release tension was to have a delicious ice cream and buy some cookies. And where better than at Macdonald Ice Cream, which is located in the mall?
We went all the way, looking at the cityscape with all its nuances.
Después continuamos nuestro camino hacia el centro comercial La Vela, ya que a nuestro hijo se le ocurrió que lo mejor para liberar las tensiones era tomar un delicioso helado y comprar unas galletas. ¿Y dónde mejor que en Helados Mc.Donald, que se encuentra ubicado en el centro comercial?
Fuimos todo el camino, mirando el paisaje urbano con todo y sus matices.
We headed there, and when we arrived at La Vela shopping mall, we first took a tour, since we were there. It was better to look at all the stores and see what they had to offer. I liked a wall that looks like a colonial street, like many in my homeland, and I did not miss the opportunity to take pictures.
Nos dirigimos allá, y al llegar al centro comercial La Vela, primero dimos un recorrido, ya que estábamos ahí. Era mejor mirar todos los locales y ver qué ofertaban. Me gustó una pared que parece una calle colonial, como muchas que hay en mi tierra natal, y no perdí la oportunidad de tomarme fotos.
We continued our tour and went up one more floor, where there was an store "OUTDOORS" of camping and hunting products. There you can find everything from a boot to a cava or a hook, everything you might be looking for for camping. But what struck me most about this store was its facade. On the outside, they had the head of an eagle fish and a turkey perched on a log. At the other end, they had the head of a deer as an ornament. They were pure ornaments well elaborated in such a way that they looked quite real.
Continuamos el recorrido y subimos un piso más, donde se encontraba una tienda "OUTDOORS" de productos para acampar y cazar. Ahí se puede encontrar desde una bota hasta una cava o un anzuelo, todo lo que puedas estar buscando para acampar. Pero lo que más me llamó la atención de esta tienda fue su fachada. En sus afueras, tenían la cabeza de un pez águila y un pavo posado en un tronco. En el otro extremo, tenían colocado de adorno la cabeza de un venado. Eran puros adornos bien elaborados de manera que parecían bastante reales.
After enjoying the decoration of this store, we went up to the top floor, which is the food court. We sat down for a while to rest from the walk inside the mall.
Después de disfrutar de la decoración de esta tienda, subimos al último piso, que es el área de comida. Nos sentamos un rato para descansar de la caminata dentro del centro comercial.
My son and husband stopped and headed to the Mc.Donald location to see what flavors of ice cream they had. They placed their order in nacelles, because it is more convenient to walk around and continue to appreciate other locations in the mall.
Mi hijo y mi esposo se pararon y se dirigieron al local de Mc.Donald para ver qué sabores tenían de helado. Hicieron su pedido en barquillas, porque es más cómodo para caminar y continuar apreciando otros locales del centro comercial.
When we finished our tour, we headed to the basement, where the parking area is located so we could board the car and go home. The truth is that we had a sweet time together. It is something we enjoy very much. We also bought cookies for tomorrow. After voting, we will watch movies and eat cookies the three of us together. Well, friends, I will see you in my next post. Al terminar nuestro recorrido, nos dirigimos al sótano, donde está la zona de parqueo para poder abordar el auto e irnos a casa. La verdad es que pasamos un momento dulce juntos. Es algo que disfrutamos mucho. También compramos galletas para mañana. Después de votar, veremos películas y comeremos galletas los tres juntos. Bueno, amigos, los veré en mi próxima publicación.
