A Testimony of Faith and Unexpected Blessings

It is really good to be useful in the house of the Lord. I remember when I still used to be a worker in church who loved doing the work of God and being in His vineyard. It is not that I'm happy not to be a worker anymore you know. At times, some situations occur that we don't have control over.

I wouldn't miss mid-week services or Sunday services. I love the things of God.
I was so dedicated and committed.

Although I am no longer a worker in church I still love everything about God.

There was a time when I was financially down. Sunday came and I needed some cash to be in church service but I had nothing on me to get a cab to get me there.

I told myself, come what may, I must go be in God's presence.

I started my preparation for church. Had a shower, got dressed and set out.

I put my legs to work, trekked and didn't care how long it was.
I eventually arrived at church with so much happiness in my heart.

I went about my duties without thinking about how I'd get home because I had already told God before I left that I didn't want to bother anyone concerning that but I trust him in whatever He would do.

After church service, I went to the ushering department to get some things done. Finished with that and heard someone call me from behind.

I looked back and it was this jovial man who would often joke about me being the best usher ever.

As usual, he hailed me again but this time with a handshake.
He did that and immediately left.

I felt something crispy in my palm. It was some clean naira notes.
I was so shocked. I couldn't believe what had just happened.

I wanted to go meet this man to thank him but I couldn't find him. He had left. It was so sudden.
I was so happy and thankful.

I was so certain that it wasn't a mere coincidence.
I believe It's God being God, looking out for His own.

It was such an unforgettable and beautiful experience for me.
