The Korean wave has now become a trend throughout the world, including in Indonesia. Currently, many things are influenced by what is happening in Korea, specifically South Korea which is shown through Korean Drama and its music actors, Kpop. Starting from clothes, food, even furniture in the house nowadays, if it is sold with Korean words, it will sell well, like Korean noodles, Korean clothes, Korean tables, whatever it is, it will sell well.

For food, many of the foods sold in Indonesia are adopted from South Korea, such as Teokppokki, Kimbab, and Ramyeon. As you can see, in one of the malls in Indonesia there is a mini market that sells food from South Korea. I was very interested in the various kinds of noodles they sold, all of which were noodles sold in South Korea from various brands.

Because all of these instant noodles are imported directly from South Korea, the price per pack is not cheap. Buying one pack of Instant Noodles from South Korea is the same as buying 4 packs of Instant Noodles in Indonesia, namely Indomie, Mie Sedap, and others. But if you have a high curiosity about Instant Noodles from South Korea, the price is very cheap to pay compared to having to buy it in South Korea, innit?

Eating Ramyeon is like a #lifestyle that no one can give up.

• Self Service

At this market, if you want to enjoy instant noodles on the spot, you can cook them yourself. After you pay, the cashier will tell you the steps you have to take to cook your own instant noodles. There is a special space provided by this market for us to cook. It is located right next to the display of all instant noodles. There are 3 booths so you won't be waiting for other customers to finish cooking. Then next to it there is also a sink for washing used cooking bowls. Each room also provides special water for cooking. This is a very practical way. Cooking it in those booths will make you feel like you're in South Korea.

I hope that this self-service system can influence the Indonesian people to serve themselves when they are in restaurants. This is a good habit so there is no harm in cultivating it.
