I love cats and I am so glad that we have two of them. Our Siamese kitty is named Tirzah, and our orange kitty is named Orange Kitty.
We have had Orange Kitty for about six years. Tirzah arrived on the scene about two months ago, so it has been interesting to see how they interact with each other.
Tirzah does not seem to get along with other animals. She hisses at the dog and the other cat. I wonder if someday she will befriend them, but I don't know if that is something she will ever do!
Last month, a pack of dogs came through our property and cornered our other cat, White Kitty. They then must have attacked her because we found her the next morning dead in one of our container apartments. Orange Kitty was her brother and I think he has been pretty sad about it. She was also the favorite kitty of our oldest daughter, so that was really sad. This is one reason I hope that Tirzah and Orange Kitty will start to get along!
I wish you could hear this photo, though. He is purring so hard and so happy to be lounging on the chair in the sun. He's such a sweet boy until you pet him too long or in the wrong place. Then you'd better watch out because he's fast and he will get you!

Yes, I hope that in time they will get along. It was sad to lose White Kitty, but she and Tirzah fought all the time, so now there is a little more peace in the house. We do miss her though! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!
