Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia!
Well, today might not be Caturday, but it is a special day: "Valentine's Day!"
Watching the stars!
And that means it the perfect day to share some love with those around you, but also a great days to show a little extra love for your feline friends who love you unconditionally, at all times!
That's one of the lovely things about pet companions... they have a special bond with their Hoomans that's generally not "conditional," as many Hoomans seem to add to their interpersonal dynamics.

As tradition goes, the Hoomans are enjoying a quiet night in with us furry friends. Earlier, they were out delivering treats and gifts to a few people who live relatively close by.
We take Valentine's Day very quietly around here, and avoid the whole "commercial" angle of the holiday that so many Hoomans seem to get embroiled in.

Remember the Big Cat Calendar!
A couple of days ago, we put the finishing touches on the Big 2024 Cat Dates Calendar, and if you haven't checked it our already, I encourage you to do so!
As we did the research for this, we were amazed by just how many special days have been created to honor cats!
Hopefully, we will be able to revise/edit and publish such a calendar annually!

This is also our first initiative to do something that hopefully is of interest to those outside the Hive ecosystem.
The Cat Calendar is being promoted through X/twitter, Facebook and external blogs, as well. Whether it will actually help onboard anyone remains to be seen, but at least it puts something Hive-related in front of people!

Love Cats? Get Involved in Hive's Cat Communties!
If you're a cat lover and often/sometimes post pictures or other content that includes your feline friends, why not become an active part of Hive's growing Cat Communities?
These are some of the more active Cat Communities — why not join them ALL? Many of the allow you to share your cat posts, even if you started at a different community!
HiveCats by @curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!
Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!
Caturday by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!
Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS!
Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.
There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!

I didn't know there was a cat community, I have 6 jajajaj
I love taking photos of them, but when I upload them to Hive, I think the curators don't like it, because they don't vote for me jajaja
But I'm glad to know that there is a space for kittens, I'll post some photos of my little ones there.
