I already wrote to you that on the island of Crete people respect cats very much. Now I want to show you that these are not just words. As I already said, in the city of Chania there is an Old Town district. This is a tourist area. There are many souvenirs for tourists and among them you can see many souvenirs with cats!
For example, look at these magnets. How many cats do you see on them?
My wife loved these magnets! She couldn't even decide which one she liked best. Or look at these funny multi-colored cats!
These cats are quite large in size and let me assure you they are heavy in weight. Luckily for me, my wife didn’t want to buy them because it wouldn’t fit in our small luggage for the plane flight.

There are so many different types of cats here that it is very difficult to choose.
Choose a small cat or a big one, white or red, or if you want the Turkish color. There is a choice for every taste!
If you go to Crete, then I would advise you to think in advance what color souvenir with a cat you would like to buy, so that you don’t have to stand next to these souvenirs for an hour and not suffer from such a difficult choice of them in front of you!
But even if you don't intend to buy these souvenirs, you will still enjoy interacting with the sociable cats of the island of Crete!
