Hello, friends at Hive. I recently visited La Casita Azul with some classmates from university. La Casita Azul is an iconic place to drink beer in Caracas, Venezuela. For over 30 years, it has been offering artists from all fields a place to share the best and most varied beers.

Hola amigos de de Hive, hace poco visite la casita azul con algunos compañeros de la universidad. La casita azul es un emblemático local para tomar cerveza en Caracas, Venezuela. Lleva más de 30 años ofreciendo a artistas de todas las áreas un lugar para compartir las mejores y más variadas cervezas.

This time I chose to have a blue Solera, although there was also Zulia and black Polar. Solera is a premium beer that is also produced in Polar breweries. In my opinion, Polar makes the best beers in the country. In the case of Solera Azul, I did a little research and one of the things that characterizes it is that during the brewing process, almost all of the carbohydrates are removed, resulting in a fairly light beer.

En esta ocasión elegí tomar una Solera azul, aunque también había Zulia y Polar negra. La Solera es una cerveza premium que también se produce en cervecerías Polar. La Polar realiza, en mi opinión las mejores cervezas del país, en el caso de la Solera azul estuve investigando un poco y una de las cosas que la caracteriza, es que durante su proceso de elaboración se eliminan casi en su totalidad los carbohidratos, dejando como resultado una cerveza bastante ligera.

I'm usually used to drinking Solera Verde, which has a denser body and higher alcohol content, but they didn't have it this time. The good thing is that we were able to enjoy ourselves drinking some good beers. This is my first time at La Casita Azul, and I find its history incredible, as it's a place that has brought together different generations of Venezuelan artists, all thanks to beer.

Normalmente estoy acostumbrada a tomar la Solera verde, que tiene un cuerpo más denso y más grados de alcohol, pero en esta oportunidad no había. Lo bueno de todo es que pudimos compartir a gusto tomando unas buenas cervezas. Es la primera vez que vengo a la Casita azul y me parece increíble toda la historia que tiene, siendo un lugar que ha reunido a diferentes generaciones de artistas venezolanos y todo gracias a la cerveza.

Beer is very important to Venezuelans. If there is one thing that the average citizen has, it is the ability to connect. Beer represents that: a moment of connection with others, with your friends, coworkers, classmates, partner, and even your neighbor. What's more, great ideas sometimes come about while enjoying a good beer.

Para el Venezolano la cerveza es muy importante, si hay algo que tiene el ciudadano promedio es la capacidad de conectar, la cerveza significa eso, un momento de conexión con el otro, con tus amigos, compañeros de trabajo y de estudio, tu pareja y hasta con el vecino. Es más, las grandes ideas a veces se dan tomando una buena cerveza.
