Second week from Christmas… This means that it is time for the second beer from Santa… Today we have something special… Something that is more suitable for the hot summer days, but… I cannot wait for the summer to enjoy this… so today I will have a NEIPA!
This NEIPA is brewed in a collaboration between the Bulgarian Sofia Electric Brewing and CoolHead brew from Finland. It’s been a while since I had a NEIPA and a craft beer at all, anger the last week’s Espresso Doppelbock that was my first gift beer from Santa.
The can has a kinda cool design with a stylized forest, but what’s more important is what is it in the can. So let’s dive into the beer!
The color is pale yellow, bright straw like and the body is quite hazy. I like how juicy the proper NEIPA beers look and I am ready to have another, after another, after another… The carbonation is medium level, and the beer has a fine foam which is quite long lasting.
The aroma coming from the glass has some strong citrus and pine nuances. The thirst is building up very quickly on me and I already cannot wait to put this in my mouth. But… some more photos beforehand. After all it is good to share with the people here in hive that beauty.
In the mouth comes a real cold juiciness. I don’t know how someone can prefer a punch or a natural fruit juice to this beer. Grapefruit flavor blends fantastically with green pine and all of this without bitterness at all. Just a pure pleasure of the fruity flavor.
After all, I feel like I want to enjoy this beer every day and it won’t bore me any time soon. I think the guys from Bulgaria did an amazing job with brewing this beer. Cannot wait to try the other beers too!
