Sinulog festival

Hello co-hive welcome to my new blog, it's alycha on your feed again. Also hi co-hivers it's been awhile since my last update. So this blog of mine will be about my experience in sinulog festival, at first I actually don't want to participate on this one, cause like my schedule is packed HAHA charottt, but it's true though.

So on the first day of our practice, I didn't go cause my laziness got activated hehe. But on the next practice, my mom wouldn't allow me cause it's already night, but I am really worried that I might can't catch up on the stepping, that's why i said to mom that she can come with me so that she wouldn't be worry. And yeah she did come with me and also our practice ended on 10 pm.

And every time we have a practice, my mom were always with me ☺️. But I didn't get annoyed with it cause I know that she's just worried about me, and ill do the same to my future children too so yeah ( HAHAHA wow big word HAHA).

Also 2 of my friends was also a contestant of the sinulog and we were rivals on the contest. And we are the 5th contestants of the sinulog, and while watching the other contestants my heart was pounding so fast because of nervousness, like the other contestants were doing a great job.

But I believe on my team, and win or lose our team will always be the winner for us.

So this photo was taken while we're walking on the street.

I was really nervous cause there's a lot of people in their, like the place was super packed. But thankfully I didn't messed up the choreo, and even though our custom's and choreo was simple, we still did a great job. And also many people said that our performance was great and also it was clean, so the burden that I have on mind disappear.

And here we are dancing (also this photo was taken by ate Lea, which is also a member of the lady Santas, I already share my lady Santa journey on my past blog, and if you want to know about that journey, I suggest you that you should read my past blogs hehe).

Also the name of our group was TRIBU KABATAAN which means YOUTH TRIBE.

So moving on, and when our performance was finished we then take a little rest cause we were super exusted. And while we were resting, our festival queen was laying down on the floor, I took a photo of her was because I found her cute.

Me and ishbel were seating on the chair, and then suddenly ishbel said to me that we should buy some foods, were I gladly agree cause like I was also starving so yeahh.

And we ask the other members including Marjorie and melca, but they don't want to. And when we got on the store, we saw Joshua also a member of our team seating there and waiting for his shake and fishball ( one of the street food here in the Philippines).

And when we came back the festival queens were already competing each other, and all the festival queens were really great, like the way they turn around was so graceful and elegant. And all of them are super competitive which makes the battle more intense.

And then the MC said that we can go to our festival queen and where will wait for the result. And also their will only be one winner, but theirs a lot of awards that your team could get.

And unfortunately, we didn't win, but it was still fine cause the winner deserve those, cause they really did a great job. And if you asked me if I was sad about not winning, will I don't feel any sadness or even envy towards the winners, cause like we've already know that and they deserve it.

The most important thing was that we've get to perform complete, and also we've get to meet new people and make new memories with them was already a win to us ♡⁠˖⁠꒰⁠ᵕ⁠༚⁠ᵕ⁠⑅⁠꒱.
