After Grad Celebration ft. Samgyeop

Hi there!!!

Recently, I graduated from my Associate course in Computer Technology together with this radiant and hardworking young lady which is actually my second cousin, @ecelyam05, she took BS in Information Systems, by the way. In the next semester, I'll be in my 3rd year in BSIS, but before that, we had a simple celebration. I know I posted about this place for few times now, but we never get tired of it.

We're back here at our favorite Samgyeop place at the Baywalk.

We're briskly walking to secure a table here actually because aside from they're having many customers, the skies are black at the distance coming from the mountains. The rain will fall heavily anytime soon. Fortunately, they have lots of vacant tables and we had ordered immediately.

Right after we had sizzled the first batch of pork slices, the rain started pouring and heavily it gets in a span of minutes. For sure, it will flood the sewers later and the waters would overflow at the roads near SM City again. Since we didn't have lunch and starving, we focus on the food first. She's laughing at me for eating the Kimchi and rice since the pork were not yet cooked.

She's the one cooking them because I'm occupied with the Kimchi. I'm too hungry to wait for the pork here.

Anyways, it's still the same food all over again whenever I come here at Baywalk. It always taste good since it's going to be another story and memories to cherished.

As you can see here, it's like storming. The downpours even reaches the tables and sprinkles on our pan. Since we couldn't leave in this state yet, we ordered another batch for the third time. We ate it slowly and have a lenghty discussions while it's still raining heavily.

When the gloomy skies somehow subsided, I noticed the time. It was nearly 5pm but the sun stayed at 3pm. I forgot about the phenomenon but the day is longer than night this season. My cousin said that it has started for long now, but I just noticed it since I'm not going out these days.

We finished all the food since we have to pay for the leftovers if there would be and we don't have extra money for that. When we vacate the table and left to walk ourselves outside, it's all damp all over the place. The volume of rainfall was extremely massive for sure.

And here's a shot of goodbye to another memories made in this place. The sun finally sets beyond the seas, signaling us to go home and have a rest.

But how could we go home if the roads are flooded, eh?

As the sun sets, the waters arises. There was a high tide in the sewers. Lol. Gladly, there were tricycles passing back and forth. We catch a ride to Andok's where it's not flooded anymore. I didn't expect that SM City Bacolod have a beach resort in front of their malls. Just kidding, it has always been like that and some said because of the polluted drainage systems. It's often a hassle when it rains, I hope it would be fixed very soon.

Anyway, we got home safely after that and had a nice simple celebration.
