What will 2025 be for me?

So another year has started and I am pretty hopeful for this new year since my 2024 wasn't as bad as I hoped for. It actually went by pretty fast and I feel like my 2024 just went by in a blur. So where do I start this off?

Well first, my art journey this year was definitely worthwhile. I do think my art has gotten more and more refined compared to the previous yeas, and it should be with more practice and with more experience.

I am quite proud of where my current art skills are at, but for the future, I do aim to continuously improve and explore. So the plan and resolution for this year is to do more art challenges. For splinterlands, holozing and a few of the art prompts I see online. Honestly, prompts really help with my art studies so much and I do not think I can emphasize this enough. For now though, I don't think I'll religiously follow prompt lists like I do in inktober and sketchtember where I align the prompt number with the day. For the 1st quarter, I just want to focus on completing the list, then I'll try to get more and more strict with myself on following the list. Hopefully this will open up more commission opportunities for me? Who knows, right? But it's definitely worth a shot. I will try to be more active on soc med too in hopes of getting more attention for my work.

Then my travels for this year ^^

This is actually the year that I have traveled the most and I am so proud of that!

From different mountains, to different towns and regions, to even coming back to cities I really like, I have traveled so much and I really want to continue this until the next few years. Oh the joys of being able to see different ways of life, and even meeting some interesting strangers, IDK it motivates me so much to do something more with my life. and it also gives something to look forward to every month, actually. Despite how much it pains my wallet, all these experiences and memories are priceless!
For my goals this year though, I am starting off the year with a few trips with my boyfriend XD we are going to baguio! I also have my first international trip planned in August XD so I'll really need to tighten my belt as well as to get my finances in check before august.
But that definitely will not stop me from trying to climb a mountain at least once a month. The other trips... I'll try to figure out as the year progresses ^^ so wish me luck in my travels guys!

As for my other plans:

• I plan to challenge myself with actually writing 365 blogs for the year XD
• I plan to do a bit more science blogs again. Gonna go back to my roots as a chemist blogger XD
• I want to start making comic strips and book covers of the fiction I write. I appreciate the variety on my blogs and I think I should keep it that way
• I want to get out of this country and I will definitely keep this as a reminder for myself to keep blogging
• would I want to settle soon? IDK that would depend entirely on my boyfrind
• I want to clear my new credit card bill because christmas gifting is sooo expensive ;;-;;

Well, this is me signing off for 2024. Tomorrow will be a new year and I hope to start it with newfound art, motivation and hopefully wit newfound luck because according to my Chinese zodiac, I don't have that many lucky stars so I need to work extra hard this year to achieve my goals this year.
