I'd like to tell you my childhood memories and how wonderful those days had been in the absence of electronic devices.

This place where I play with my cousins, siblings and friends after school, sometimes after lunch and especially on weekends when the water is low, we pick up shells, catch fish trapped on the bottom stones and playing run to catch friends and sometimes we make sand balls and throw them at the players, the bigger the ball the more it hurts when you get hit just for fun no harm, throwing stones our cheap hands are not really that painful to hit. Sometimes we're making castles out of sand, or we're making wells out of sand, and sometimes we're burying our feet and covering them with sand so we can't move. If it's high tide we swim in the shallow part of the sea sometimes leading to running in the sea water, chasing there are times leading to swimming.

Unforgettable childhood experiences!

When I come home, this is one of the places I will return to. Whether the sea is low tide or high tide, I can see far away.

The Sea

When I look at this place and think about my youth, and I smile.

Very beautiful! It was a very spacious place, where we young people used to play. Enduring the heat of the sun, we were not afraid that the color of our skin would become dark due to the sunlight. It's okay even if it hurts from running because of playing. Still continue to play and run. We kept our slippers from being lost or damaged cause of playing because our parents would surely scold us (but not so hard but it hurts) and beat us, you will definitely be able to dance to your own tune that tune is your cry😂

During of my youth in this place when the low tide was this wide, you would expect a lot of people and children swimming and playing.

We don't think about problems when we're young, just having fun.

There are portions of sand that are elevated where there is also a portion of sea water around the area that is elevated. Parents with children are not the only ones going to sea some with their pet dogs. I'm hoping you'll notice that dog.

The color of the sand in our area is shown in this photograph. There's mostly white sand on the beach. The color of the sand I'm used to is strange, it is gray fine sand, it's soft on the feet. It makes us feel better on our feet when we're walking here, because it feels soft and cool. This is also what we make sand balls, we take a sufficient amount of sand and make it round in shape. It's easy to do because the sand is soft and fine. This is also where the young people used to tumbling, I didn't try it because I was afraid that I might be crippled, the only thing I could do was look.

That's the shape you can see in grey, fine sand due to ocean waves.

When I shot it with my shadow, the sun was behind me.

I walk in the water just to look for a shell. Even though the sun was warming up, the water was very cold.

Since then, I've never known the real name of this shell, hehe but I know that it is edible and when I finished handling it,I returned it to the sea.

The water's so clear, I can see everything under it. This is what you can see at low tide, and this part of it's very deep at high tide.

I'm going to be missing that view. If there's any change in this area, it might just be an expansion. The sea eats away the land on the beach little by little.

📍The blue star fish

I was afraid I couldn't hold it, and when I was young, I noticed it was bigger than my hand, and I thought it might move suddenly, and I was surprised, and I even threw it away.

Now it's still the same hahaha it is bigger than my hand but I'm not afraid anymore I can hold it.

The star fish lying on a rock, maybe he doesn't know it's low tide, he can't get down, even if it's hot, he's not going to die because his skin's thick and he's still in the water.

He is just the right size, a bit fat and has short spines.

I can see the beach from where I'm standing, and my other relatives live in this part of town. That's where part of their property.

You'll see the building that was my school from grade one to grade six in this part.

So we're really close to the sea. Sometimes, when we were excited to go home, we'd run home during lunch breaks, and we'd rush to eat our lunch when we got home. Then we bathe in the sea before school, sometimes before class. Actually, we didn't ask for a permission to our parents because it would definitely take a beating. They're not going to find out, 'cause no one else is going to report it.

If your brother gets angry with you, he will definitely report you so that you can be beaten. We're taking off our clothes so they don't know we're taking a bath. Back then, young people didn't care about taking a bath just to have fun. It's time to go to school, we quickly dress in uniform and get ready for class. The teacher's going to see us bathing in the sea, 'cause our hair is wet.

The sun is high, yes it's hot, but I still walk on the beach and let my skin get rubbed by the sun because I miss our place so much.

I've got my niece Bella with me. She's the one who took the picture of me.

I've been so happy to be here, and I've looked back on all my experiences here. Not all because I don't have my old friends, but I can share my past here.

I try to catch fish, but the fish don't want me hahahaha.

It's different that I saw a small crab that didn't even move, hi there little crab.

I put the corals back in the sea properly so that they don't get damaged because I know it's the habitat of other fish and the hiding place of other creatures from the bottom of the sea.

I'm thinking it's a circle shape of sand, 'cause I saw one before, but it wasn't that big.

I thought it was a coconut shell when I picked it up, it was so big. I'm not even sure what it is.

My niece and I walked and we left the part of the water.

We've been leaving the slippers and walking on our feet, it feels good. I want to try one more time.

I've always been fond of writing my name on the sand as a sign that I went to sea. My other friends were like that too.

This is the first time I wrote this name just for my blog here at hive.

I am very happy this way. Even if I travel far, even if it's tiring, I'm fine with the place you're going to and you'll also be able to visit the place that reminds you of the fun you had in your childhood days.

As I walked I came to the other end, here I will show you something.

When I turned around, I took a picture of it so that I could also show here in my hive how beautiful it is here in this view. The clarity of the sea water is like a mirror.

Sea creatures living in the grey, fine sands. We call it Sunda-Sundalo because it's a soldier's when they are going out to their hiding place they march when there are no people around, and if they notice that there is someone coming they quickly hide into the sand.

Some parts of the sea there are sand mixes with the brown color of the land and there are mud parts but still they hide and live there.

It's because of those markings that you know when they're there.

They make a hole going down and their way so they can move everywhere and this makes this sand like this.

They're using their legs to conceal themselves in the sand, they really have eight feet and two claws.

This is what i got catching this creature 😊 I am done watching all of them and they look scared 😊 then i let them return it to the place.

I've seen the bamboo boat. If it's high tide, this bamboo boat is the way they can get out of the water and ride too far from shore.

This beautiful view gives me a chance to take a picture.

After Bella took me a picture, she ran to the sea water away from me and said "Tita Let me swim before we go home"

While I was watching her, I let her swim. I'm not letting her out of my sight, because when I was swimming when I was the same age as my niece, I didn't have a big sister to look after me.

The sun's so bright, it hurts the skin, so I'm walking towards my niece, telling her we've got to go home.

That's the anchor of the boat

She's begging me to stay for a few more minutes, 'cause she enjoys it. I'm letting her live here until she decides to go us home.

while we were going home we were walking in the sea I saw this crab trying to hide in the sand.

Spending hours at this place is not enough for me to reminisce about all my old days but i feel refreshed by those memories and leaving with a smile and telling myself I am glad that i experience all of those.
