About Me

Greetings Hivers! My name is Stephen Carlo B. Bazarte, and I’m a 22-years-old and currently residing in Cebu. I’m a 2nd-year student at Cebu Technological University who has an eye for exploring and balancing all that life has to offer, whether it's on the football field, trying my way through a new food spot, or planning up my next travel adventure and I'm excited to share my experiences and journey with you.

There are seven members in my family, my mom, dad, and I have 5 siblings, 3 boys and 2 girls, and I am the 3rd son. Unfortunately, my older brother ahead of me died in 2021. It was hard for our family and I know my mom hasn't moved on from my older brother's death, but she never stopped providing for us. My mom pushed herself to be strong for us, her children who are still here. Even though it's hard to accept, you need to move on for the good of your life.

I've been a Football player since elementary it has been a significant part of my life, growing from a personal passion into a truly rewarding experience as a grassroots coach for the past three years. I also continue to play football, and I'm currently a player on the university team at Cebu University. We recently won the SCUAA VII Regional competition.

Sharing my love for sport with young players and watching them develop their skills and confidence brings me so much joy especially when my players would win in a competition or sports league. But, it’s not always that easy to be a coach, especially with young kids. They have different ways of learning or adapting to the lessons I share with them not only that they also have different behaviors which makes it the most challenging part because it can sometimes cause a misunderstanding towards other players but with these experiences and encounters, I was able to learn how to handle a different type of kids, each with their unique personalities, learning styles, and behavioral ways leading me to develop my ability to connect with children. I have patience and a playful approach, which makes it easier for me to teach football in a fun and supportive environment. Beyond football, I'm an enthusiastic traveler, eager to immerse myself in new places and make memories, and more on enjoying food.

My Interests & Hobbies

My interest has always been in football but now, I am eager to engage myself with travel while still teaching more kids about football, I to help others grow through football because it’s not just a sport it offers important lessons in discipline, patience, and teamwork, and coaching is a natural add-on to my love for the game. It always gives me satisfaction from watching young players develop their skills and confidence. It helps me be the older brother for them and teach them valuable lessons! I was also caught up by coaching that I never had a chance to explore new places. Now, it becomes an interest of mine that goes hand-in-hand with my love of food. I want to explore new places with my friends, cousins, and family creating lasting memories. Every new place nowadays has its famous food or eatery that also makes me crave to visit that place because I’m also on the verge for new taste touching my mouth. Just like when me and my girlfriend went to Nanda in Consolacion, we knew the food would be expensive, but we didn't expect the drinks, especially the water, to be so pricey! But the food, like the burgers, has so much in it like it wasn’t made frugally and the fries was seasoned with perfection, making it overall worth the cost.

In my free time, I’m most likely to be found in the field playing football or being a coach but sometimes I spend time playing online games with my girlfriend who is a big gamer. We're different because I like football more, but there is one particular game we both agree on the Mobile Legends. I also sometimes go on a food trip, particularly in Liloan, where there are many street foods by the San Fernando Church in the afternoon or in the Pier 88 in the evening, where my cousin also sells their burgers, tacos & nachos snacks and visit there to show my support in their business. I also do nature trips since I have a motorcycle making it easier for me to reach far destinations.
