Basking in the Warmth of Love: An Unforgettable Date Experience

I couldn't believe that anything that happened on Sunday was possible. It felt surreal, and my heart was overflowing with happiness and gratitude. Last Sunday, @cli4d and I went on a date together. We had planned and set this date weeks ago. For some reason, I couldn't control my emotions as the date approached and the remaining days dwindled. I believe he felt the same because he told me during our night calls.

It was around 10:30 am when we decided to buy our tickets at the cinema and watch a beautiful movie, "The Little Mermaid." We chose this movie because we both thought it was the most suitable one for us. The first show of the movie was at 11:30 am, so while we were waiting, we decided to buy food to eat inside. We got popcorn, canned root beers, and bottled water. The queue was long, but I didn't get bored at all since I was with him.

When we first entered the cinema, it wasn't cold at all. It was quite frustrating because the air conditioners had just been turned on. They should have done that before the show started. Anyway, I was feeling so hyped that finally, I could watch a movie in the cinema, not just by myself, but with someone I adored and loved dearly. During the movie, I couldn't help but lay my head on Ford's shoulder. It made me feel more comfortable, and I held his hand from time to time.

As the movie reached its peak, my body remained tense. I was nervous because I didn't know when to give him the ring and the stuffed toy I had. After the movie ended, I asked Ford and gave him the ring and rabbit stuffed toy. It felt like an achievement for me to break an invisible barrier in my heart and let his presence in. What else would someone like me, who is completely in front of the person they love, do? Just enjoy his company and ensure we have a great time together.

After watching the movie, we headed to the photo booth called Photoism. It was a recently established store in SM Bacoor, located on the 3rd floor. I was saddened by the fact that there was only one staff member assisting all the customers, and she seemed pretty tired of trying to accommodate everyone. Despite that, they had good offers, and it wasn't bad at all. We chose the lowest-priced option with a long strip type, which cost us 200 pesos. I was shocked when we could scan the QR code and download a soft copy of the photo, and there was even a live video. We could print additional soft copies if we lost our original. It was an amazing feature, though.

We were hungry and decided to explore the different floors instead of eating at the usual fast-food joints. We chose a restaurant we had never tried before, called Everything But Cheese, even though Ford had already eaten there. It was pricey but worth it. I loved the fries, and they blended well with the cream cheese. However, Ford preferred a different sauce for the fries. I liked the onion rings, but the quantity was quite small. It would have been better if they had at least 10 pieces.

The main part was the middle bread, which was really good. Since it was soaked with cream cheese, it became even tastier and creamier. It might seem like a small amount, but honestly, it could make you feel full. Unfortunately, drinks were not included. Luckily, we had two extra bottled water that became our beverages. I preferred drinking just water since anything else could affect my stomach and might trigger something else. We didn't stay there for long and instead roamed around different stores. It was a way of manifesting our desire to get something from a particular shop.

After wandering around, we found a quiet and peaceful spot on the underground floor of the mall where we could rest and talk. I filmed our conversation, and it lasted exactly 52 minutes. We talked about life, future plans, our first conversation, academic status, and many more topics. But one thing I loved about our conversation was how mature we were in opening up and talking about these things without holding back.

Honestly, having deep and heart-touching conversations was something I had always wanted to do. It felt like we could get to know each other more and learn from one another. I also believe that discussing our family life, especially our relationships with our families, is crucial. It reflects the kind of future partner we want to have and helps us understand who the other person really is. Above all else, I am happy about everything that has happened.

Before parting ways, we stayed at the food court together. I video-called my sister and let my mother talk to Ford. I knew Ford was very shy, and his heart was beating faster. I just wanted to introduce him to my mother since they hadn't spoken yet. I would be glad if they had a chance to talk in person and become comfortable with each other. More than anything else, I truly enjoyed our time together, and my heart was overflowing with love and gratitude.
