Retail therapy is probably the best way to relieve stress. For me, it is the best way to relieve mine. I find it very relaxing and stress-relieving to go on retail therapy. But on a practical side, I may love retail shopping, but I love to go thiftshopping even more. Come with me as I go thiftshopping in Bogo City. It is a thirty to fourty minute drive from my house by motorcycle. Bogo City is located at the northernmost part of Cebu City, Philippines. There are a lot of thriftshops in the city.
My Favorite Thriftshopping Buddy
We went here at AXL ZURPLUZ Center located at the heart of Bogo City, this thrift shop is located beside Gaisano Bogo.
Patiently Waiting
There are a lot of people waiting for the staffs to open new bundles. As soon as the bundles opened, they all grabbed their chosen finds. Most of these people I have seen are online sellers, they come here to buy the items and resell it for a higher price. It is a good way to earn money, thiftshopping is not an easy job, it requires so much patience.
Thriftshoppers
As you can see in the photos above, the shop was filled with so much people. I clearly understand why so much people loves to thiftshop, it is very practical, you can find a lot of good finds, it may be a unhygienic but we'll just have to make sure to sanitize the stuffs and wash it well.
Good Finds at AXL ZURPLUZ Center
The shop has a lot of thift options. You can thiftshop bags, shoes, hats and different types of clothing. For two dollars, you can get jeans that looks perfectly new, or for a dollar, you can get a shirt which is still usable. It's all a matter of how good you thrift.
After thriftshopping some clothes, we then went to VSR Houseware - Korean Supplies. It is another thriftshop at Bogo City. This is located at Dakit, Bogo City, just near the high way, when you are heading Cebu, it is located at the right part of the road, a few minutes before you will reach CEBECO 2 La Paz Bogo City branch. VSR Houseware sells a lot of secondhand stuffs from Korea.
Everything Korean
In the entrance, you will see these bicycles, scooters and strollers. There are a lot to choose from. My son tried to ride a scooter. It was quite functional.
Trying Out The Scooters
The bicycles were rusty, but I believe it would still function. The scooters my son tried were all functional. The strollers are dusty but with proper washing and cleaning, it is still functional. The prices are much more cheaper than buying those at the malls. You'll surely save a lot.

Kidding aside, grabidad, dami na agad nag aantay ng new arrivals. Kapag ganito you can really find a lot of good items that you can sell is much higher price. Though di rin talaga ganon kadali mag alok ng paninda still,PUSH! Gaganda din ng mga items sa Korean surplus, talagang maeengganyo to buy kahit sinong mapadaan.
There is so much thriftshops in the Philippines, and so much in Bogo City! Pero I find Korean shops scary. I only looked at the items but I did not buy any it looks like those on horror movies hahahaha
