Warts are common yet unwelcome skin growths that can appear on any part of the body, often causing discomfort or embarrassment. While some warts may disappear on their own, others require some attention.

How it started

Just recently, I posted regarding my wart problem. I notice this wart on my feet maybe already a year ago but just thought to myself that it will be gone and doesn't need any medical treatment. As time goes by, I feel discomfort especially when I hit a floor or door with it, it was very painful when it happens.

In my quest to find an effective solution, I discovered that nitrogen treatment, also known as cryotherapy, offered a promising cure for my embarrassing wart situation.

Because of the extreme cold generated by liquid nitrogen, you may think that it is hot that makes the pain, but the truth is it is the extreme cold that makes it painful.

The Hospital Experience

Upon visiting the hospital, my doctor confirmed that my wart was an excellent candidate for cryotherapy. The procedure itself was relatively quick and straightforward. The doctor applied liquid nitrogen directly onto my wart, causing an instant freezing effect. Although I experienced some mild discomfort and stinging during the process, the sensation was bearable and lasted only a short period.

Over the course of a week, the blister gradually dried up and formed a scab, which eventually fell off, revealing new, healthy skin beneath. Throughout the healing process, I carefully followed my doctor's aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and minimize the risk of infection.

Reflection on the Nitrogen Treatment

Looking back on my experience with nitrogen treatment, I can confidently say that it was a worthwhile decision. Not only did the cryotherapy can effectively eliminate my wart, but the entire process was also relatively quick and not so much pain. My self-consciousness about the wart has vanished, and I can now go about my daily activities without any discomfort.
