This summer, we journeyed to Cape San Agustin in Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental, and it held a deeper meaning for us all. It was my mother’s first summer without my father, and after years of selflessly caring for him during his illness, this trip felt like a gentle embrace from life itself. Seeing her joy and excitement as she visited this beautiful place for the first time brought a warmth I can’t describe as a daughter.

Where did you go on your summer outing?
Our family went to hubby's birthplace in Madredijos, Bantayan Island to attend the first ever Cimafranca-Figalan Family Reunion which was iniated by hubby's brother held in his Farm. What a memorable reunion meeting hubby's half brothers and sisters for the first time and their families who came from differnt places like Palawan, Pangasinan, Cavite, Butuan and Aloguinsan, Cebu.
We enjoyed much visiting tourist destination there like the Kota Park and the stretch of sand bars in Youneek Beach in Santa Fe, Bantayan.
After our holiday, next was our 3weeks stay at the 3 different hospitals because the blood sugar of hubby shoot up. He ate a lot of sugary foods like the rice, "binignit" on our vacation and "kamansi chips" made by his niece.
Lesson learned: even on vacation we must control what we eat, especially Senior Citizens like us.
Nakow di na ako nakadagat. 😆 Pilgrimage sa Diocese of Antipolo and Cavite lang ginawa ko, sa mga Jubilee churches. Ang saya-saya. Di ko pa rin nagagawan ng blog tho. 😅

Our teams at work plan to spend a weekend at La Union this June. Sana hindi kami uulanin. Last year, we spent it in Batangas around July but it rained all that time.
Unfortunately, hindi talaga ako naka summer outing kasi kakatapos lang ng second semester namin, so technically I spend my summer in school. Most of my days during May was spent making lesson plans, preparing for demos and performance tasks, and making IMs. Even though school-cation lang ang peg ko this year's summer, it's worth it naman kasi makakausad na ako sa third year >v<!!
