For today's blog I'll be sharing to you guys my trip back my home town for the holy week holiday. Hope you guys enjoy!

THE WAITING GAME

It has been a long day, it has been bery humid in our place. Since we are going back to our home town, my brother and I decided to clean our room first in the borading house before leaving. We do this everytime we leave our boarding house, it's better to clean the room first before going back so that when you come back it there wont be many thing to do and we can rest, even thought the travel is only 2 hours, it still tires you out.

Bringing along dirty cloths to wash at home hehe... you guys do this too?

When we arrive at the bus terminal, there were a lot of people in line, I guess that was expecte because its a long weekend or holiday because of the holy week people will be going back to their home or home towns to spend some quality time with their family and loved ones.

I think it took us morethan an hour standing in line, particularly the line where for our destination. Plus, standing inside the bus was not allowed so we really have to wait our turn. The two hour travel felt short because I was seating on a window seat, where you can see the shorelines on the way back to our home town, and I also had my earphones for some good music while traveling.

Almost there...

GUESSING WHAT'S FOR DINNER

It was already dark when we arrived in our home town. We were so hungry while we were walking to our house, we tried to guess which food they have prepared for dinner... my brother's guesses are adobong balatong (string beans) or adobong baguio beans, while my guesses inun-onan na awa (paksiw na banugs). When we arrived, we put down our bags and head straight to the kitchen and asked what did they had for dinner. Me and my brother both had the coorect guesses, yes the dinner that string bean and paksiw na isda but the string was not cooked as adobo and the fish they is in the paksiw na isda is not bangus. Well we were a bit off with the accuracy of our guesses, but our tummy's were surely filled to the brim. We had a good meal. We also had adobong pusit...

After finishing our meal, I remembered that I did'nt have any mobile data for internet so I decided to go to 7/11 to buy load, of course I also asked my brother if he would want to come with me. He wanted to come so we walked straight to 7/11, we have a scooter and ebikes but we still desided to walk because we like it that way. It's nice to walk on an empty street in a breezy evening. It was not that far though, it was just 4 blocks away so walking there is not a problem.

MEETING NEW PIGLETS AFTER TYPHOON ODETTE'S RAMPAGE

I am so happy to share to you guys that after a quite a long we are finally blessed again with piglets on hour small farm. I haven't shared this story to you guys because I did'nt have the courage to share a very sensitive and tragic story that happend in my life. Typhoon odette, although it happend in 2021, around 3 years ago, my memorise around that time still hunts me today. A 12 foot flash flood that washed out basically everything in our barangay, aside from concrete structures everything alse was taken by the floor, substandard houses, livestocks, and even lives were not spared. During the night of the flood I was very thankful that my family was swift enought to climb on our attic and the trusses of our house. but sadly one of my cousin was fell victim to the flood.... Our growing business of piggery that time was also wipeout, not a single pig or piglet left in sight, even our pig pen was washed away too. Good thing theres a lot of good people around, one of my father's friend decided to give him one piglet to raise to hopefully start our piggery business again from scratch.

From that time until know the piglet grew healthy and now has her own piglets. See piglets again for the first time since odette moved me, it took me a while just enjoying the sight of healthy piglets on our makshift pig pen. I was so happy seeing them that by the time Im writing this blog, I realized that I forgot to count them haahaha. Cutie piglets on the pen again.

I noticed this one that was not camera shy and was constantly trying to get closer while I try to take pictures of them. What a cute little fella.

I'm very sleepy Mr. Hooman, what do you want?

This one was so sleepy that it dint even mind my getting really close to him and taking pictures. Well not for long because I tried to get close as possible while trying to wake him up, still very cute. Very chunky and healthy piglets.

That is all for today's entry for my blog guys. I hope that you have enjoyed the stroy I shared to you guys, and I also hoped that you enjoyed to cute piglet pic I included in the blog. Cleaning the house before you leave for a vacation is a great practice. It makes you look forward to going home and rest once your vacation is done.

So sorry about your cousin. It was tragic how it happened.

It was so nice of your father's friend to give him a piglet. Sana all friends are like that. I remembered Charlotte's Web with your piglets. They are so cute!

Masmaganda Po talaga if one practice it like that, you won't have to stress thinking about how you still needs too clean up pagkabalik from a vacation/ holiday.

It was hard at first but as time passes by, it became natural of me to this kind of things. One moto that I certainly believes in, which I think is actually trues is that "practices turns into habits and habits turns into character", it's fascinating Po how small repetitive actions builds up overtime.

All of the piglets are so cute Po, tumatakbo takbo Po habang pinapaliguan🤣

hahahaha my parents got it covered

My mom and I used to bring our dirty clothes from our boarding house too! I think it's a must...or else, the smell will circulate inside your room and stay there till your come back! The cleaning you did will be put to waste 😅.

Anyways, those are cute piglets! I hope your business will grow more than it did before.

God bless!
