By the way this is the place that we evacuated, the house was covered with trapal or a waterproof sheet thing that is used to cover stuffs.

And then it was November 4 and the typhoon is closing in, I’ve already packed up the things that I need.

And also earlier that day I also bought my cats a 1 kilo of catfood that could last a week.

Later that evening the wind was so strong and I decided to check the weather in this site called zoom earth. The typhoon did not landfall yet but the winds were so bad that the house was shaking.
And the clock turns to 4:28 the wind was getting stronger and stronger that I couldn’t sleep. My cat couldn’t sleep also and got scared when the wind blew.

It was now 5:50 and the expected landfall was 5-6 Am. I was so terrified because I still had the trauma that Super Typhoon Yolanda also known as Super Typhoon Haiyan gave me when it hits here in northern Cebu.

It was so cold that time and luckily my father boiled a water so that we don’t get cold and also to keep us warm.

It was now 6 AM and the wind destroyed the thing that used to cover us and thanks to my father and my uncle they managed to fix it right on time.

After an hour of suffering the typhoon it was finally over but the typhoon leaves us a lot of leaves inside the house and outside the house. It also destroyed our things. Some of the big branches of the trees were broke down. The electricity went out and the signal also went out. We couldn’t call our love ones that time because of the limited signal. But thanks to God that we are safe and our house wasn’t destroyed or damaged by the typhoon.

In Negros Occidental, we experienced the same, and until now, we don't have electricity, the restoration is taking time because they also need to clear and cut down trees, build new poles and rewire power cords 😢☹️ I hope you and your family are safe and dry.
