The first time I touched a snake! / Das erste Mal, dass ich eine Schlange angefasst habe!

Hi again friends!

Today I am gonna tell you about my friend Arcus's birthday and the adventure of me and my classmates.

Last week I went to his party and it was lots of fun.
The party is at Shakey's Pizza Restaurant and we also had yummy pizza for early dinner.
The best part in the party was the magician.
At first he just got a bird from his hat.
I was like, okay, I see that one a lot.

But then he just flicked his hand and there was a snake!
A real one! It was so big.
Its color was yellow and I think maybe it was a python or something.
It was curled around his arm. The magician let some of us come up to see it and take pictures too.
But not everyone was brave enough to do so.

I got to touch it. Its skin was super smooth and dry, like shiny leather.
It moved so slow and its tongue went flick flick.
It wasn't scary at all. It just felt calm and strong.

I never touched a snake before. It was the coolest birthday thing ever.

Hallo nochmal, Freunde!

Heute erzähle ich euch von dem Geburtstag meines Freundes Arcus und dem Abenteuer von mir und meinen Klassenkameraden.

Letzte Woche war ich auf seiner Party und es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht.
Die Party war im Shakey's Pizza Restaurant und wir haben auch leckere Pizza zum Essen gehabt.
Das Beste war der Zauberer.
Zuerst holte er nur einen Vogel aus seinem Hut.
Ich dachte mir, okay, den Trick kenne ich schon.

Aber dann wedelte er einfach mit seiner Hand und da war eine Schlange!
Eine echte! Sie war so groß.
Ihre Farbe war gelb und ich glaube, vielleicht war es eine Python oder so.
Sie war um seinen Arm gewickelt.
Der Zauberer ließ einige von uns nach vorne kommen, um sie sich anzusehen oder auch paar Photos aufzunehmen.

Ich durfte sie anfassen.
Ihre Haut war super glatt und trocken, wie glänzendes Leder.
Sie bewegte sich so langsam und ihre Zunge machte zisch, zisch. Das war ja überhaupt nicht gruselig!
Sie fühlte sich einfach ruhig und stark an.

Ich habe noch nie vorher eine Schlange angefasst.
Es war das coolste Geburtstagsding überhaupt.
