Simple joys I came across this week

Happy Saturday, my dear Hivers! This week has been a very hectic week for me, work wise and personally. But instead of thinking of all the stress and chaos, I'd like to shift my focus on the simple things that adds spark in my life. So here goes a post dedicated for that.

Eating dirty ice cream after lunch

For lunch, my friend and I went outside our office to buy our meals. It's a 5 min walk and is quite far in distance compared to our usual lunch meal which we only order on the 10th floor of our office building. But we want to eat somewhere else, so we went out despite the distance.

After lunch, we tried the dirty ice cream nearby. To clarify, it's not really "dirty" literally, but that's what the locals called it. When the vendor saw that I took a photo of his ice cream, he offered a free extra scoop. This simple kind gesture really made my day!

Watched a Japanese Movie with my friend for free

I can't remember the last time I went to the cinema. So when my friend invited me to watch a free movie from the Japanese Film Festival, I really find time in my hectic schedule and went to the movie, even if that means taking a leave from work (haha). Watching a movie in the cinema really feels therapeutic. How I wish I could watch every single Japanese movie in the film festival.

Japan goodies from my boyfriend

Ben recently went to Japan for a 5 days tour and went home yesterday. He asked what pasalubong I want from Japan and I only said I want some Japanese green tea because I know that Japan's green tea are premium grade. But instead, Ben got me these goodies which I truly appreciate.

That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!

Sending some love and light

With love, Jane
